Oh boy, tatami sleeping is rough (but smells so good.) I legit damaged myself last time I was in Japan. Had to change accommodations and was stuck in my room for 5 days with a busted hip.  It's so tempting for the price but I just have to bite the bullet and give up on ever saving any money. I'll have plenty of time for busted hips when I'm bankrupt and homeless and sleeping under a bridge.

LOL my mattress at home is pretty hard, too, so in a way I'm used to hard surfaces and I like them - although I always wake up feeling like someone pulled me apart and put me back together overnight. lol I survived it twice, hopefully that will continue... I just thought if I'm going to Japan, might as well try the whole Japanese experience lol (Each time >.>) But I don't blame you for choosing a bed. Having a good bed to fall into when traveling, is priceless in many ways...

I just came to post that there were two FS tickets on ticketcamp for 80,000ish each if anyone was desperate and they're already gone before I can click submit.

If you get it, you will get the ticket the day of competition

you need your id for the ticket.

no way to resale although it is a paper ticket.

Not sure if I want to get it...10 days to plan a month vacation is too short...there is no way to resale...but I really want to see SEIMEI 2.0...I don't know... I sounded like I could get one...laugh at myself...

I recently tried buying Ghibli Museum tickets on l-tike site on the regular monthly release date and it was a fkng nightmare. 

 

I wonder if it would be possible to enlist the Planet army to help try for them.

Woud be willing to help here. But do you mean the NHK tickets? Or the Ghibli museum ones?

I think if too many of us pounce, it will only get even harder to get them? As it will crowd the servers even more. But no idea... I don't even dare hope anymore... (although I might be getting that gala ticket from facebook... So at least there is that. It doesn't really help that Seimei is what everyone wants to see the most ^_^; )

I don't think there'd be that many of us here to overload the servers anymore than they would be already. I mean, it might be a case of the straw that broke the camel's back but I don't know either. If you're doubtful about I will humbly withdraw the idea. I don't want to muck it up for anyone.

Sure! When is the 3rd round happening? I'm still in Moscow but if ticket sales don't open till later this week, then I can help 

Third round is on Sunday, noon Japan time. (Keep in mind the switch to winter time in the places that have that happening on Saturday to Sunday night...)

 

@SparkleSalad I don't know if it'd make a difference, as far as overloading... I guess I'm just envious, actually lol I'd say go for it, who knows?

 

(And I think you have SP and Gala tickets? Seems I'll be going to the Gala, too... I probably won't believe it until I'm inside the venue, but still. Now what are the chances I'll get otherwise lucky, too, on Sunday? 0.0000000000001% or so? )
