I actually don't know what 8K HiFi Vision exactly is lol. But it seems they will be having it at several locations. So far I've seen mentions of viewings in Osaka, Sendai and Tokyo.

I applied anyway. 8K would be a dream. My plans otherwise are to mope around the figure skating section of a bookshop and then cry in front of a tiny hotel TV.

I'm assuming 8K is super high definition "almost real" TV? I've never watched anything in 8K. 

 

And gosh at another lottery. Maybe you can apply for both the Osaka and Tokyo locations? That would add to the chances. 

 

ETA: It seems there are 3 venues for the Tokyo viewing. More chances

8K is twice the definition of 4K which is 4 times 1080p. I've only ever seen 4K and it was like looking through a window! 8K must be incredible!

 

I don't think I'd have the energy to travel between SP and gala to see FS in Tokyo, much as I'd like to. I still hope to win those actual FS tickets. Ugggghhhhhhhhjh jhjhct7yh89k LOTTERIEEEEES!

I think it says for the 8K screening in Osaka they will have cutouts of the athletes and a replica of the kiss&cry outside the venue. No advanced application required! Lololol!

I wish they had some fancy virtual reality  I don't know the name of the technology but recently there was a concert or something, which asked some real singer to sing at the same time with some singer who died many years ago. and that singer looked real... they should use the same tech to show Yuzu...

and same tech to show Yuzu in the middle of fans...

It's in Osaka but there will also be screenings in Tokyo and Sendai. But 8K would be amazing. The website says it will be like being rinkside.

around 2am Japan time? on 13th...maybe i don't know...now I don't know if I want the ticket because only one month for visa, not possible...

If not - and if I don't get any myself - I'd happily buy any NHK ticket for the same amount your paid for it (though others would surely offer even more...)

 

I'm feeling really sick - caught a bad cold - and been having lots of bad luck lately, so I'm hoping for a bit of luck in return to get at least one NHK ticket...

I hope you feel better soon.  Maybe try and break some mirrors and stand under some ladders to get the rest of the bad luck out of the way. 

 

I got an email back from a proxy service willing to buy tickets from ticketcamp tickets if you're interested, though I haven't used them before. I don't know if it will be a sure bet - they have to verify payment before they buy it for you - but it might be worth a shot? They said it would take them 1-2 hours to make the purchase.

 

I expect a bunch will be listed tomorrow and hopefully they'll be a lot cheaper than the ridiculous crap that's listed now.
