Third round is on Sunday, noon Japan time. (Keep in mind the switch to winter time in the places that have that happening on Saturday to Sunday night...)

@SparkleSalad I don't know if it'd make a difference, as far as overloading... I guess I'm just envious, actually lol I'd say go for it, who knows? :)

(And I think you have SP and Gala tickets? Seems I'll be going to the Gala, too... I probably won't believe it until I'm inside the venue, but still. Now what are the chances I'll get otherwise lucky, too, on Sunday? 0.0000000000001% or so? :xD:)

Omg you got gala?! Please where are all the jumpy happy emoticons! :smiley-happy085::tumblr_inline_mp4i2vHXDy1qz4rgp::party2: (Tjis is best I could do I am walking and typing and accidentally just walked up a hill what have I become.)

I wasn’t suggesting getting an army together for my own sake but for all of us! If we could do it for people who want to go to GPF/olympics I think that’d be good, too (I don’t think the Olympics site will crash at least.)

When I bought Ghibli tickets there were a bunch of times I’d get as far as entering payment details and then it would be processing processing ERROR and then I’d have to start again but the tickets would be gone. It’s a real bugger of a website. And it didnt seem to hold tickets for me until I’d done the “click and drag the cute cake” verification thingy we had to do for lottery. I ended up buying tickets to a few different sessions until finally my preferred session became available because I guess a lot of people had similar errors during checkout. Took around 30mins of constant refreshing and clicking and failing before I succeeded. :13877886:

So if you don’t think it’s a bad idea I think it would be good to enlist the help of as many as we can. Though I think with even 1000 of us we won’t have much luck. :tumblr_inline_n18qr5AMus1qid2nw:

Okay, so I am a terrible pedestrian and I hope all that wasn’t too garbled.

That lovely person on facebook sold me her ticket. Well, I paid half now, the other half in cash, when meeting her friend at the venue. But yep, technically I did and can't believe it lol :knc_yuzu2:

Well, essentially having a PH army to help get tickets in Japan sounds great, I'm just not sure how it would work? As in, if the army only manages to get one ticket, who gets it? lol And so on.  But ideas are welcome...

For the lottery, I used the avast free safe browser - not sure about the exact name, I'll check when I get home; because I'm paranoid about entering card details, after having a bad experience - and it actually worked much better than mozilla or chrome or so. I'd get errors in mozilla, but never got one in that browser. No idea why, maybe the browser itself has fewer bells and whistles so it moves faster.

It could be as simple as names out of a (digital) hat held by an impartial satellite. I don't know. I DON'T KNOW! But it is better than one satellite sees SEIMEI than none, right? We can at least get reports that way? Maybe sneaky cameras if a bold one gets it. XD

Thanks for the tip about the browser! I shall image train with it.

(Did you remember that NHK has encores? >_> We will see SEIMEI choreo sequence. >_> He won't be tired from 5 quads and it will probably be as intense and powerful as open media day. >_> Have a look at the glorious ina bauer from 2015 NHK encore; it was like he was opening himself up to receive all the power of the universe. >_> I remembered it as having golden sparkly orbs flying down and concentrating in his heart but it was all in my head. >_> My brain is probably still a bit damaged from CoR Swan. Dear god, I hope it's not swan at NHK. I'm not ready to die again.)

I am a very envious person lol But yes, you're right... I'm definitely not bold enough to sneak in cameras, though... But the NHK broadcast should, technically, be good...

(Encore, yes... I remember... I didn't dare think in too much detail yet, because, like I said, I still can't believe I'll be there... but... ahh, now you've got me all excited again! And to think it's less than three weeks away...:13877886:)

I figure if ever such an organised person were to come along and work out a helpy-handy system it will probably eventually benefit us, right? It would at least help someone, maybe! Even if not this time then some other time. Though I think after this season things will be a lot easier anyway. Just a bugger with 2 comps in a row in Japan. :13877886:

(I am running very vivid scenarios in my head where I get turned away at the door and humiliated and spend the rest of my life crying until I die from heartbreak and dehydration from tear-shedding just to prepare my heart.)

That's true, but where to find such a person? lol And yeah, that's... >_< Also, I think everyone is particularly desperate because we don't know for sure what will happen after PC.

(The humiliation wouldn't bother me as much, but I had an extremely disappointing experience last year at a music festival... I was virtually in 2nd row from 9am to 3pm, but it got so crowded and there was pushing and no room to sit down and nature called, so I had to leave that place, 5 hours before the band I was there for took the stage... I cried so much for that lost opportunity and I didn't even really have who to blame. I imagine going into NHK thinking I'd definitely go in, only to be turned away would feel much the same... I was probably the weird gaijin bawling in Makuhari last year, hoping I won't be the same in Osaka this year ^_^;  So, not making too many hopes is definitely healthier...)

I'd nominate someone but I wouldn't want to burden them with the responsibility! Thought I guess if anyone would be willing to help out this time and not be bothered that would be good too, I suppose. @katonice Thanks for putting your hand up but maybe it might be a bit awkward for you if you were to hit the jackpot. :)

(I keep the tiny font because it's so cute. Ugh, that sounds really awful. :( I admire your bladder for holding on for that long, though!  I haven't been to a live anything in probably 10 years or more but I won a ticket to get an autograph from a director after a screening but had to run to the toilet first. I came back to the world's longest line and had to stand at the very back of it for 3 hours. I can't even look at that beautiful poster, the trauma of the bladder betrayal still hurts too much. I can't wait 'til I'm geriatric and cathetered. What's this about Makuhari? >_>)

We could probably come up with something, but yeah, it could be awkward lol Also, if she's still in Moscow on Sunday, I think that'll be at 5am Moscow time, so... >_<

(The tiny font is cute, but people with bad eyesight might hate us... then again, we're majorly OT by now, so... lol I am amazed I held up as long, too... Also once I managed to make my way out, I had to wait 20 minutes in line for the hold-your-breath-or-die-of-stink port-a-potties... I was crying the whole time ^_^; Nobody ever mentions the small issue of bodily functions when a lot of waiting needs to happen... Maybe they should invent event diapers or so. And the festival was at Makuhari Messe. Visual Japan Summit 2016... ah, the memories... it was a marathon, though, I slept 4 hours in total over three days and spent most of the third day trying not to pass out. But it was worth it... Although I admit, I prefer assigned seats events LOL So NHK should be just fine!)

It's no problem for me  Happy to help out sourcing these elusive tickets.

We can figure out who gets the ticket IF I do manage to hit the jackpot.

A big IF right there, and my record hasn't been exactly stellar yet considering how it's gone with me and the GPF ticket clickwars lol.

Will be on standby on Sunday. We're looking mainly for the FS tickets right?

Hopefully one of us gets through and scores, if not all of us! :2thumbsup:

:10742289: Thank you, helpful space kitty! :tumblr_inline_mp4i2vHXDy1qz4rgp: And yeah, I think everyone is probably after a glimpse of SEIMEI. :) I’ll be on standby to help out for ‘lympics and GPF if there’s a final round.

Should we recruit more people? Maybe make a call on the General thread?

Just a suggestion though ^^

Actually, I just realized there's a problem. For this third round, tickets need to be picked up at the venue and they clearly say they'll require ID upon pick-up. So anyone applying would have to use the names of people actually going there... Which makes it really complicated to get help this time... (And they might not accept multiple applications on the same name, this time... Though implementing that isn't that easy...)

Gah, you’re right! But at what stage do they ask for your name? I’ll try going through the process when I get home but yes, that is a huge piece of awfulness I hadn’t even considered! :13877886:

ETA: WHY YOU HATE ME, JAPAN? I LOVED YOU SO LONG AND THIS HOW U DO ME?  :13877886: (I was too heartbroken from swan on weekend and didn’t get halfway through my pile of dead bunnies. Gotta catch up now.):13877886:

No idea... probably at payment? Like for the lottery? Will you do a simulation with another event? Because I think for this one the platform doesn't open until Sunday at noon (JPT). So we don't even know for sure what the steps will be :sadPooh: (I'll have my hotel address on standby, too, I think... just to be safe...)

I’m going to keep trying. Tried Ghibli just now but already sold out for the next 8 weeks or something ridiculous. :13877886: I will report back once I’ve found something that isn’t a GD lottery!
