Except for the nice Taiwanese 4CC people but that's rarely worth it.  Worlds packages are making me laugh.  Though if I could go I'd buy the most ridiculous murderface package and not have to fly home becuz ded. Money saved, suffering avoided. Win win win.

I would have probably found them funny, too, if I weren't anxiously awaiting news... Actually, for myself, it's no big deal, I'll just pounce on the best available tickets. But a friend said she might want to go along, so I can't pounce until I've talked to her and it's nerveracking.

 

As for NHK... maybe I'll take my work laptop home... but it was hard for the overseas tickets with two laptops... *sighs* Yuzu, what are you doing to us?

He's killing us without murderface. I don't think the universe realises that it is my destiny to die by murderface, otherwise I would have ticket by now. Why has God forsaken me? TT_TT

 

I actually got my foreign sale SP ticket with the 2 computers method and it was my crappy, broken, slow computer that got it. I hope he forgets which side the judges are on, then maybe I can die by Chopin oni face instead. 

 

I would just be a horrible friend if I were you and pounce. Either that or buy 2 if you can and sell them if your friend doesn't want. God knows what they'll cost, though. Organisation is fun!

I felt slow as a turtle with 2 laptops for the foreign sale, but I guess it's better than nothing ^_^; Good luck with dying by Chopin! (that's got to be the weirdest encouragement I've ever given... and it's not even Halloween yet...)

 

I asked her now to give me a price limit, so I can decide on the spot. But whether I'll have enough money is an issue... I guess I could let SP wait (not the biggest Chopin, fan, though I do want to see that, too)... and hope it won't be as murderous as NHK/GPF. And I kind of need my friend along, because hotel rooms are cheaper divided by two...

I will ganbarimasu to die by SOMETHING! I can't live past this season. It's too much.

 

My biggest regret of being a lone wolf is not that there will be empty pews at my murderface funeral but that I will always have to spend too much on accommodation.

 

(I will be so okay to die by delayed 1A/3A+endless twizzles in exchange for murderface. Also okay to die by Requiem.)

At least I can distract myself a bit with preparing for the trip: packing, planning, Seimei-ing my hair (some people get Seimei manicure - though that's in plans, too - I get Seimei colors hair... >_>), shopping etc....

Oh my word! Well you'll be easy to spot in a crowd!  I can't be bothered with any special grooming. I was going to wear a very nice jacket I haven't worn in years and when I picked it up to pack it I found the lining is Pyeongchang medal ribbon colours! I also found I lost too much weight to wear it now which is yay but also... I really wanted it as a good-luck charm.  I will have to just carry it in my heart because I can't be bothered with anything else.

Ever since I first found the courage to bleach and then color my hair, I've enjoyed playing with crazy colors, so Seimei is a good excuse for it. I usually can't be too bothered either, though. (Also, I don't do all my hair, I'm not very fond of getting bald too soon lol) Too bad about the jacket, though... You could maybe wear it with like five sweaters or so, though... Which reminds me... I've never been to an FS event, I have no idea how warmly to dress...

I was Run Lola Run red as a teenager but cbf keeping that up. If I had a nice face I'd just shave all my hair off - I can't stand it. I'm really not good at being female.

 

The website says ice is cold, dress appropriately (paraphrasing) but idk wtf ice even is. I see a lot of lap blankets in the audience so I thought I'd take one of those.  I will probably be elbowing people a lot fussing with jackets and jumpers.

I know what you mean, I'm pretty bad at it, too.  Until a month and a bit ago, I was the only female at work. I once showed up with my hair half blonde and nobody batted an eyelash. Nor when I got it purple or blue or green... But now there's a young pretty girl and one day she showed up with her hair curled and everyone remarked on it - and they do again, every time she gets it curled - and I'm like "Men..." But truth is, I guess I'm just not female enough for them to pay attention (Not that I really care, since I did want them to treat me as 'one of the guys'. I've always been a tomboy. Except for nails - not fake, though, I hate fake nails - and crazy hair colors...)

 

And I thought the lap blankets are more ice show things... where it's not THAT cold... But then again, a blanket is bound to help, regardless...

 

And I know what you mean... I told one of my classmates from Japanese class I was going to Japan for NHK, although I didn't even get tickets and she gave me this look. Oh well... We'll have a blast, regardless. Chattering teeth or not! (And I plan to visit around Kansai, too... though the mains tops are Seimei Shrine and Yuzuruha Shrine >.>)

If only one of the guys was truly achievable! I've always been a weird girliest person ever + super tomboy hybrid that I don't even understand myself. I prefer male company but at the same time hate how men treat women differently. Mountain hermit life is the dream.

 

I just know if I were to go to Kobe they'd be sold out of yuzumaru before I got there, such is my luck and poor planning. And I'm starting in Tokyo and won't get to Kyoto until after the comp so Seimei Jinja will probably be a wasteland by then. I might go to the lesser known Seimei shrine in Osaka but who knows. I have no idea how much energy I'll have so I've really only planned a couple of quiet things to do either side of the comp. At the moment I'm just praying I'll feel well enough to fully enjoy seeing Yuzu and hopefully Carolina as well. I completely fell head over heels in love with her on the weekend.

I don't know how cold the arena in Osaka is, but at ACI I was in a T-shirt and I was fine, thought I'd recommend bringing a jacket and a blanket just in case

With all the frustration of searching for tickets and needing murderface SEIMEI to live/die, I keep forgetting that Pchan and Jason will be there (shame on me.) Can't wait to see their exhibitions! Very lucky to be able to glimpse Pchan's beautiful SS before he retires.
