Fantasy on Ice 2022 in KOBE

The Raison costume looks immaculate! And the one with the bow actually looks the best costume out of all the FaOI costumes I’ve seen

He defnitely said arigato gozaimashita like always— heard it. That message in Japanese says that he did.

Thank you!
Very weird take that one

I feel blessed today that we got the sneak a peek of his costume and HIM.

Why do i feel that his program costume has a meaning. it feels like how the "light" slowly tainted by the "dark".

It just my interpretation, hehe

Some info about the song and its meaning

Probably Yuzu’s way of saying that he will skate on his terms, his way. His authenticity and pureness will not be tainted by others.

Edit: The color transition from the small, dark section on the sleeve to bright white for the rest of the outfit may symbolize his transition from a dark place into a brighter (happier) place?

I can’t wait to see his performance of his new program and of the new opening and closing!!! 😆

I wish Kobe had televised this one :13877886:

will any of the Kobe shows be live-streamed or televised for later viewing?

You know what, as far as FaOI costumes go, these ones are the soberer designs to date (I mean, the white shirt with black bows would have been boring without it being made from glossy/sparkly fabric :xD:)

...which I welcome tbh :wink_star:

Here is the description of the program and the finale

It's always amazing how clearly you can picture Yuzu from these sketches. Along with some photos, the music, and tweets from viewers, we got a pretty accurate idea of what Yuzu was doing. Fanyus bring in the pieces of the puzzle very quickly. I like that.

Amazing, how collective imagination was cumulating into more and more perfected sketches, all based on rough and often conflicting bits and pieces of information, quick, spontaneous, and often emotional exchange between the fans, previous knowledge about FaOI costumes, individual skills, but also eagerness and a lot of extraordinary fanyu love.

English translation of Raison lyrics ....

(not a particularly good translation I think!)

The lyrics are difficult to understand even for Japanese. Combinations of seemingly unrelated words, just like rap music.

The first line "さよならと指切りの関係 Sayonara to yubikiri no kankei"

should be read "The relationship between goodbye and pinky-promise" instead of "finger-cutting"

I tried to rewrite all the lines, but sorry, I have given it up. Many wordings are missing in the translation. But even if they are included, I'm afraid it's better for you to think it's too philosophical to understand :meditationf:

I don't know enough historically, but does Yuzu ever explain the meaning of his new programs after he has finished performing them?  I mean, some programs are fairly obvious, but some are ambiguous and it would be awesome to have the insight into the messages he is trying to convey...
