February 8, 20224 yr Idk about y'all but i am too sensitive rn myb coz this is my first olympics with him. After seeing his name at 8th place, i can't stop crying, even while typing this i am still covered in tears. Not because of the mistake. But because i dunno if i can handle all the hate and backlashes he will get from medias and haters after this. Please god, just let him land ratified 4A asap, so that i can see him reti**ng from this shitty corrupted sport. My heart can't handle all the mistreatments and disrespects towards him.😭😭😭

February 8, 20224 yr 10 points between him and third place..thats quite a lot to close the gap.Thats why i hate pop in sp ..so costly. He will try to do his best in the free and can he just left after that .Dont need to wait for the gala.Olympic didnt deserve him.But it is so weird to see him off the podim. The media will have the field days asking him to retire now that his time has come

February 8, 20224 yr According to my partner (who is consoling me since 5:30 am in the morning), this was needed to lift up the pressure for 4A. I feel so empty though, I was expecting the best outing of Rondo. not 8th place.

Take care of yourselves! You can't cheer for him to give us an amazing performance if you are hoping to shield him from the negative comments He doesn't look too concerned and we shouldn't be either He knows what he's doing
February 8, 20224 yr I apologize for the crude language but I gotta get it outta my system. People are already all over social media lauding Nathan's 'incredible artistry' and basically ass-kissing. WHAT ARTISTRY. WHO GAVE HIM 10 IN INTERPRETATION

My friend was comforting me as we were watching live and telling me to look on the bright side. As long as he is happy skating, then that's all that is important (even if I >.> at the scores) Good for your friend! I am really comforted by everyone's comments here. Thanks to Yuzu, I learned of figure skating, got to enjoy so many performances, of his and of other skaters too. It's been a fun journey (ups and downs and everything). I definitely will follow Yuzu's programs / ice shows / interviews etc - for as long as he skates, competitively or not. As for scoring, I'm done. For the last two years, I no longer read protocols, don't care about the scores. It just makes my blood boils every time. When he's done with ISU, I'm done, 100%. But you know what, Yuzu's programs are immortal masterpieces. It'll be remember by future generations, I'm sure of it. His name will stand the test of time. He doesn't have to prove anything to anyone. I wish him health - LOTS of health - and happiness. Go Yuzu! Do what you want!

February 8, 20224 yr I agree that even not counting the mistake with 4S, the JNat version was better - this one seemed a bit less sharp and lower energy. So I think his PCS is not that outrageously low. But, I think if Yuzu still wants to be competitive against Nathan, he needs to up his tech in the SP. Let’s say if he had got 14 points for 4S and 49 for PCS, that’s 16 points higher tha 95 which is still below Nathan’s score. 4A in SP next season!! But anyhoo, Yuzu’s focus doesn’t seem to be on winning gold medals any more (good for him). And who knows, Nathan may retire after this and focus on med school.
