February 9, 20224 yr Well, I wasn't expecting him to go full force 4A drilling right before the actual competition. He had a bad fall yesterday and understandably looks slightly uneasy now but his jumps are there, so he will be hopefully fine.
February 9, 20224 yr Did he bow at Mishin before leaving and Mishin tried to sign to him to tighten his arms?
February 9, 20224 yr He did look tired and in pain to me, but he also looked positive and determined. I'm guessing he's keeping 3A2T with 3F and that he'll go out and deliver a magnificent performance via sheer determination like only he can (if he's injured he maybe has decided against 4A after all, I have no clue what to expect there), BV won't be high enough but he'll say he did what he could (like he said after WC 2021) and we'll hear about an injury after press con. Doesn't look to be too serious though. If it all goes down like this, then hopefully he'll be back for world's this season.

February 9, 20224 yr this 35 year old dude doing those tricks tho makes me imagine yuzu doing quads at 35
February 9, 20224 yr I just want it to be done and over with. I'm going to watch Yuzu's skate later and go back to sleep. The Olympics will be over as far as I am concerned.

February 9, 20224 yr I gotta say, obviously I want him to put his health first and all that, but I think at this point he knows what he's doing in that regard. So that aside, I'm so proud of him for deciding to show up today so determined to make something happen. B/c he knows he (most likely) won't medal this time and (likely) won't complete his 4A dream today, but he's fighting anyway, just for the principle of the thing. I respect him very much for that.
