I was curious so did a google search and found nothing directly from the IOC yet.  Also interested in seeing how that is going to play out.

Will there be an ending performance for FS this Olympics?

Welcome to the Planet, @Soarhigh :welcome:

The Exhibition Gala is scheduled to start at 12:00 on 20 February.

“Kamila Valieva’s temporary suspension has been lifted and ROC remains with gold medal. But WADA may appeal this decision to CAS.” sports agent Andrei Mitkov

Quote

Russia won gold in the team event, but the International Olympic Committee (IOC) postponed the awards ceremony, referring to urgent legal advice from the International Skating Union (ISU).

On Wednesday, the portal Inside the Games published the news that the reason for the delay in the awards ceremony could be problems with Valieva’s doping test.

“Kamila Valieva’s temporary suspension has been lifted.

The ROC team was left with the gold of the team event in Beijing.

But WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) may appeal this decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS),” Mitkov wrote on his telegram channel.

So this is a reliable source? Therefore whoever was responsible for Kamila imbibing whatever she did will get away with this and the ROC is just gonna,,, sweep it under the rug?

And IOC and ISU are going to let them?  Going to leave it to WADA to pursue, when we can see that Russia doesn’t care what the doping agency does, because IOC will just roll over and let them compete anyway.  What about the health of the teenager at the heart of this?  Russia doesn’t care what methods are used as long as it gets them medals.

If this is indeed true and they're just gonna let it lie I'm gonna be pretty annoyed (and that's the polite way of putting it)

Hours after the finals, and I still hear Hanyu's Heaven And Earth in my head. (Meanwhile I can't even recall what NC skated to). This must be the Hanyu effect.

All I can hear in my head is hana wa saku to soothe my heart :(((

Someone somewhere here yesterday said that IOC should ditch FS because of the judging etc.  I think this comprehensively proves that IOC is as bad if not worse than ISU.

I officially do not want FaoI Shanghai anymore. Why are chinese events so cursed for him, wtf?!

I highly doubt there will be faoi Shanghai under this covid situation. But if they will,  hope he has a chance to enjoy Cfanyus support in relaxd moods in the near future.
