If the points are recalculated, JPN will win.

Yeah, how?

I'm actually happy if ROC takes gold because I abhor USA and JPN for all the shits they have been pounding on Yuzu, but eh

So how?

What happens if the ROC team is disqualified? Japan takes gold? WTF? * Option one: the remaining nine countries in the team event each move up one in the final standings. The USA takes gold, Japan silver, and Canada bronze. * Each segment of the team event is recalculated to account for the disqualifications. Riku and Ryuichi would now be the winners of the pairs free skate, for example, and earn the points for a first place finish. Under this scenario, Japan would overtake the USA.

I don't like neither of JPN and USA getting the gold too but I'm happy with this scandal. It will overshadow everything else and once again FS rises in the negativity. Deserved for ISU. Burn in hell.

Also the alliance might break so the judging will be fun to see.

Oh if RUS is disqualified, Japan will take the team gold. Ok, this is better than USA.

Wait, if they would get disqualified, would the German team be in 8th place? They would have needed the 8th place to get sport funding for the next years, if I remember correctly.....

You know what, I have a funny feeling the USA will pull strings so that it will be moving up position rather than recalculation of individual comps because 1) their ego can't have it) and 2) money.

But, they can all burn in hell for all I care.

Reddit is a funny little place. Y'all are just mean.

I have recalculated if ROC points will be removed.. USA will still win by 1 point.. hmmm

Nothing will change in the standings for ladies and pairs.. both JPN and USA will moved by 1pt

In Ice Dance - Japan will moved by 2

In mens - USA will move by 1 as vincent is behind ROC in the free
