It can help a bit with PCS IMO, SS is most likely quantifiable. But I agree with @yuzuangel, unless the ISU itself is changed, technologies, no matter how advanced and people, no matter how dedicated, won’t change anything

Edit: actually, the rest of PCS can be quantified too, albeit some less than others (so will still need the human factor, but bias can be reduced).

Maybe unpopular opinion but interpretation, composition, and performance should be abolished as PCS categories.

Yes, we care about skaters having enjoyable programs, but we all have different opinions. Judges have never used those categories to anyone's satisfaction, so they should just be abolished. Skaters who want to put care and effort into their programs will be rewarded with fans and popularity and viral videos on social media -- it's not like being criminally underscored in PCS has prevented someone like Satoko Miyahara from putting out extremely polished and beautiful programs.

I don't think PCS should be abolished, but it should be rearranged and redefined. SS, for instance, is as technical as the jumps, so it should be considered as a part of the TES.

And within TES, too much importance is placed on the jumps, not enough attention is geared towards the StSq, and ChSq is STILL there. I honestly don't understand the point of regarding the choreo sequence as a TES element, it should be merged into PCS's PE.

Anyway, the way the PCS is right now, and has been for a very long time, is NOT it.

the division between TES and PCS isn't a tech/artistic division though, it's a division between scores for individual elements versus the program as a whole. skating skills isn't an individual element but something exhibited (or not exhibited lol) throughout a program

It does make sense that way, yes (theoretically LOL)

Does anyone know if these are re-runs or new content... or maybe a bit of both?

These are repeats of WTT, but don't know if they are longer versions or not. On regular TV, they only showed 4-5 skaters, but on the paid channel, they showed all of them.

How to spot smiling Yuzu even with a mask, you look at his scrunchy eyes :tumblr_inline_mqt4grU8ua1qz4rgp:

Even countries with no figure skating presence appreciate Yuzu and his accomplishments. I remember seeing an article about Yuzu in Vietnamese too. Our boy is Mr. International:coolio:

This seems like an interesting analysis, even by Google Translate standard LOL (sorry if this was shared) >>

The ending part though: "It's not a dream story, it's near." :loveshower:
