On a personal note, I think we're faring worse than other years, because this summer we got spoiled with Yuzu content. The cacti are having more issues than normal adjusting to the drought.

Tbh, I'm kinda Zen rn! We've had so much Yuzu content this off season and I'm so happy that he recovered and he didn't retired after Olys! We'll have new programs and costumes so I can patiently wait for the media day! Next month is so close! I'm ready for the great revel!

I'm hoping he'll pick the week that starts on the 6th but yes, it is possible he'll postpone for later. I suppose it depends on how much he wants to show. We have seen all the triples apart from the Lz, and the T & Sal are back for the quads so he could technically go for the early date and use showing nothing else as a fab excuse to keep his cards close to the chest in terms of what he's actually going to do, come ACI. I'm sort of betting on that in my desperation as frankly I am so ready 

(but yes, to be serious for a second, it could easily be postponed for recovery reasons)

World's 2016 is on JSports 04 (039 on Asahi TV) and 07/29 17:00 (it's actually on right now).

I don't think I can watch the whole thing as it is just too heartbreaking...but SP is okay (but then again think about the result it still hurts...)

I still watch that SP quite regularly because these days I see it as a testament of who Yuzuru is, in both the good and bad ways, but I think it's worth seeing. The Gala too. I've never re-watched the FS, I cannot as going through that merry go round when it was happening and everything after was more than enough! Knock on wood, things are different now (though all the grey hairs remain).

I love the EX as well. The beauty in skating itself as well as the emotion throughout the program is just stunning. One of my fav of EX.

Sometimes I watch the CoC FS as well (maybe I'm a do-M...) but somehow I can never watch WC 2016 FS...I've watched it once when I was quite newbie of fanyu didn't know anything much right after I watched 2016 WC SP and well...I've learned the whole thing afterwards so once was enough for me.

Oh yes, I sometimes go back to that CoC FS as well. I think that it is 'easier' in the sense that it was an on the spot accident, he went out anyway and in terms of the potential impact on his career it wasn't so gut-wrenching, while Boston was prolonged and overall so unfortunate that I simply cannot. 

Plus, I've had so many arguments about that CoC FS that it holds a special place in my heart these days

CoC FS for some people is the hardest to re-watch but for me I can take it even though I cry a river along with it. I think mental pain is worse than physical pain as the body can heal itself through natural process (to the certain extent) while mental pain can be prolonged until you completely process the event and accept the outcome to move on.

 

I've seen an interview of Yuzu where he was talking about the CoC event and how it impacted him. I gathered that the event hurt him physically but his decision of continue skating afterwards was made based on him not having concussion at the time. He couldn't move because he was winded badly and couldn't breathe. The pain was mainly on his abdomen and the legs but the cut on his chin and head made it look more horrific. I admit it was horrible event and his decision was controversial but seeing the recovery and GPF POTO, the decision had paid off. 

 

Yuzu's story still continues so maybe one day we can look back and watch Boston 2016 as a part of his glorious skating history...

Aug 4th for the day itself, Aug 8th but there was that mess of should be public, oh oops, no, delete the tweets. So I am not sure.
