  1. In Scotland at the moment and resisting the urge to fill what's left of my suitcase space with Nessie plushies for next season
  2. My heart.... They all look so happy!
  3. There's a Family Mart right across the street from my dorm! Is this going to be at every Family Mart? I might ask staff tomorrow OT but I just came back from Sendai today and had an amazing time! If it wasn't for Yuzu I wouldn't have even thought to visit Tohoku. So glad I did!
  4. OT guys but I'm in Tokyo and I finally found the subway ad! The one I saw is at Shinbashi station if anyone is nearby It runs for over 3 minutes so you can watch the whole program!
  5. Yes I'm definitely going to visit Ice Rink Sendai! Super excited Thanks for the info!
  6. @yumeaki and @sweetwater, thank you so much!
  7. Oh is there anywhere I could find more information about this? Or is it okay to just rock up? I'm guessing both parts will be held in Sendai?
  8. I think he's spoken about this before- his thin and flexible frame means he can rotate fast but it also means he's more prone to injury.
  9. Unfortunately not I'm in Kansai for this week and Seoul next week. Thanks for the heads up though!!
  10. Hey peeps, hope everyone is feeling a little better! I just landed in Japan (Osaka) today and was wondering where the best place would be to go for Yuzu-related merch?
  11. That was beautiful, thank you for sharing your story! I'm glad you decided to go in the end and it became such a special experience for you during such a difficult time. I'm sorry for your loss and I hope you're coping okay (if not, please do reach out!). Best of luck with everything going forward!
  12. That's pretty amazing! I've seen people use eyelid glue to turn monolids into double eyelids, but never the other way around Correct me if I'm wrong but I think she's a makeup artist (Zawa-chin?) who is famous for her makeup transformations into various celebrities ^^ In this video, she basically goes through her Yuzu transformation process
  13. "Because Yuzuru is Yuzuru. Although he’s saying “I’m released from pressure” right now, after a few months, he might just go back to how he was. He is someone who constantly aims upward." They knew zen Yuzu wouldn't last long
  14. *raises hand* Yuzu on VS Arashi please.
  15. I guess I'll just have to binge watch 3A compilations in preparation for when Nessie rears its head Thanks for the tips everyone!
  16. My biggest fear right now is not being able to tell 4A from 3A. I'll probably mistake his 4A for the World's Highest and Longest 3A
  17. Sometimes I feel like Yuzu sees figure skating as a massive video game He sounds like the kind of person who doesn't leave a game alone until he's completed all the optional side quests and defeated all the bosses. (I'm kidding, we all know figure skating means the world to him )
  18. "Q: What did you say after your performance? A: I said something? I don’t know (laughs). Q: It looked like you had roared out something. A: I don’t know (laughs)." Look at this boi feigning ignorance "Q: What is the layout for the FS? A: Well, this is the base (laughs). Yes. I want to consider it in various ways with this as the base." Hmmm...I smell a 4A addition. Although he could have been talking about choreo as well.
  19. My feeling is that he's set an ultimatum to himself to land it at Worlds reliably. Landing a 4A + two clean programs in front of his home crowd and at Worlds sounds like the kind of thing Yuzu dreams about. So I do think he's going to attempt it as soon as he can in competition but he's also wary of the injury risk which is why he hasn't incorporated it just yet. At what success rate will he be willing to incorporate it? That's probably the main factor here. My selfish wish is that he'll attempt it at the GPF but that's only a bit over two months away so who knows The realist in me says it'll happen at Worlds but I'd be very surprised if that'll be his first attempt at it in competition.
  20. Oh gosh, I just assumed it was younger fans... that's quite bleak
  21. It's really sad to see this kind of behaviour from "fans"- I've only seen it otherwise in k-pop and it can get really ugly at its extremes (ie sasaeng fans). I hope the people that are doing this mature a little and realise that they're actually harming the people they proclaim to be fans of.
  22. I love how his program choice ties in with CiONTU. The thought of watching Yuzu skate along to the climax of Otonal is already giving me major chills
