They did the same for the ladies (and probably pairs and ice dance too). Maybe it's a way to promote the GP. I just find it a bit unecessary to edit a video that'll change in 3 weeks. 

I suppose it's to drum up some anticipation for the upcoming GPs. It's more interesting than the lists they also released for sure.

I was gonna say that too, two trailers for a commercial, it better be good, they get our expectation up.

To promote the GP that they don't show on the ISU channel this season just to make sure that less people can watch it
