Re my last post above - an even more eagle-eyed Fanyu spotted Yuzu had left traces whilst skating to H&L before OSD that look just like his profile - is it on purpose?? Is it a miracle?? It just seems so amazing that the face is in the middle of the OSD water ripple, Yuzu skates over it at the beginning of OSD and it just looks like him as boy Haku...how?? He truly IS a miracle boy (as some fans call him!)

Very unpleasant- responded to what I could as requested.  Can’t help feeling that Chukyo sweeping the board in the men’s category was a bad sign, but I’m feeling end of year pessimistic.  I feel for the likes of Shun Sato who isn’t from an accepted skating tradition and imo getting penalised in scoring as a result.  Depressing.  At least no one can dispute sales figures for Repray.

He puts the 'figure' back in figure skating in the most elegant way possible.

 

As a former student of a coach who was rather famous for having weak scores in figures, this is ironically reflective of how much work Yuzu has devoted to mastering all the skills. It makes me smile to see.
