LOL. I watched 4CC free skate live.  And well...Worlds cuz I was there. While I didn't express it outwardly I was like  when he botched the 4sal/3toe in front of me for the short (it was on my side of the rink), but then I was like  when he hit it in the free in front of me. Followed by some crazy screaming. He gives you a heart attack but the victories feel SO much sweeter .

I think nothing, nothing will prepare us for the moment we hear his name announced in the Olympic Arena, live in television, with vuvuzelas, the first time for the Short Program. 

 

I mean at least I'm sure I will die in that very moment.

The two 4S3T were on my side of the rink too..in the SP I couldn't see clearly what happened because I was sitting behind the board, I could only watch the slow mo after the SP. And during the FS, oh..I have never felt so happy and excited when he landed the combination in front of me..everyone was screaming and crying in the arena. The good and bad feelings...the emotional rollercoaster...Those were moments I will never ever forget.

My ears are so scared for NHK/GPF. I seriously might take earplugs.

Living in the United States where there is little interest in figure skating, it's mind boggling to read how eager the Japanese are to interview Yuzu. 

 

And add me to the list of those having difficulty concentrating at work while waiting to hear what music he's using for his FS. I hope that's revealed sooner rather than later!

 I know what you mean, I remember Sochi ... it was nerve wrecking to say at least ... and I wasnt such a crazy Fanyu like I am now

I was on the side of the 4Loop... so the combo was far from me, but I still remember clearly feeling ecstatic when he landed it... the combo and the 3Lz, most tense moments of the whole program. And when I think about Yuzuru saying that he could feel the entire Arena, he could feel his fans praying for hi to land that damn 3Lz... UUUUGHHHHH

I was 6th row so I could see it well. I also saw the beauty he did in practice.  And yeah, that was one of the happiest days of my life. I'll never forget it and it will always be something we can look back on and smile about no matter what's going on in this crazy and cruel world. Enjoy the highs when we have them!  And I just checked my K&C screaming video and it's now over 23,000 views. I cannot. I've showed people and they said they've never heard me sound like that before.
