... I'm surprisingly chill about everything and that's weird for me because I'm a naturally pessimistic person. But I've noticed that with Yuzu, no matter what happens I feel like if anyone can overcome anything then it's him.

OT - I wish facemasks were the norm in the UK - I am surrounded by people with colds at the moment - it's only a matter of time.......

Well, a little more time to gain form would be preferable but we all know Yuzu will try his best

Would I be correct in my impression that she knows something (good) that will not be told to the media anytime soon? In which case, I'm fine with it, if it's good probably something that can be used by media to add pressure to him.

I can wait...he'd be in ninja mode anyways right now.

On a side note, guess this means that Planet Hanyu's climate alternates between dry and monsoon seasons? With nothing in between.

I guess that this is probably the last update we'll get until Olympics. After all that happened since last November I still have  a good feeling. There are still 3 weeks left and the fact that Yuzu is more careful this time means that he doesn't want OGM at any cost for his body.

Somewhere in Moscow, Brian sneezes. Javi gives him a tissue and asks if he is okay. Brian says it's nothing, dismissing it. 10 mins pass before he has a very violent sneeze.

Little did Brian know that in a house in Toronto, a young Japanese man was having dreams where he is checking jumps off a long laudry list, with little sides notes marking little snippets/comments Brian gave, occassionally muttering "Brian says I need to wait a bit more and tap a bit...". And so as he dreams, Brian continues to sneeze in Moscow.

I think he wants that OGM even at high cost but maybe he had already too many experiences with rushing back to the ice from injuries, so this time he's being extra careful to be sure he's completely healed. Or maybe it's just my wishful thinking: I really want him to come back stronger than ever partly because I want all his previous bad experiences to turn into helpful once.

Actually, I'm not sure about the last. The problem is he wants the OGM, so getting injured before is not an option, so he'll be careful. But if push comes to shove and he feels he must and they might pay off, I'm sure he will take risks during the actual programs, especially the FS. I personally won't breathe easy until that final pose Brian loves to imitate so much.

JSF doesn't tell us everything they know and Yuzu probably doesn't tell everything to JSF. With or without injury it would have been the same ninja mode as always.

Tbh I am grateful to have Europeans and 4CC for distraction before Olys, otherwise all this waiting would be unbearable.

This is a beautiful image, although I feel the latest news is more like that soft, soft quiet rain that comes before a huge storm... and you see the black clouds on the horizon but the sky hasn't caught up with you yet...

 

Poetry aside, if it's bright news, then the actual content of the routine must be the 'bright news' they don't want to disclose. I'm not saying jump names or anything, but... quads.
