Um... due to rules and respect I will not disclose names here, but things are like: in a competition in 2012, Yuzuru was having serious problems of stomach ache during an OP on ice rink, he was so painful at that time but the senpais just kept talking around themselves and no one to simply ask him if he was OK...and recently one "senpai" had commented on Yuzuru's Hope and Legacy, saying it was having flaws such as not skillful and no emotions (I totally cannot understand why because I am moved by this program every time), and there are also some more serious stuff...(better not to say here I am still afraid of what happened back in GoldenSkate) However there are still good senpais to him such as Nobunari Oda, but a lot more were... That's why sometimes I feel so bad for Yuzu. He is such an angelic person and treats everyone so nicely, but not everyone treat him nice in return. :0 I didn't know about the 2012 thing. That's not good sportsmanship tbh

The team event at Olympics doesn't work like the WTT - in WTT, singles result weight much, much more than pairs and ice dance, while it's more even in Olys. And Japan are so bad at pairs and ice dance that there is absolutely NO chance that they could get the gold - even medaling is going to be tough. That is, if they even qualify... The two spots for ladies is driving me mad. Satoko, Wakaba, Mai and Marin are such beautiful skaters, and much better than many other competitors... it's really unfai :( I have a very small preference for Satoko and Wakaba (gimme all the 3As !!), but... the truth is I would really want the four of them. As for the third man... that would be cool if it was Mura. Sota is a big question mark, though. Oh that's a shame :( Also WTT seems a bit unfair then. Did Japan come up with that idea on purpose?

I hope that they get that spot at Nebelhorn. I mean they literally just won WTT so it would be shame for them not to be able to qualify for the Olympic Team Event (and then Yuzu has the opportunity of getting 3 OGMs) Sota Yamamoto would be a good choice but I don't know if this would all be a bit too much pressure for him to handle (seeing as it would be his first year as a senior) + he has that broken ankle that has just healed. I think Satako will likely get a spot. I'm also hoping for Mai but...Marin is there (I read somewhere that she's the darling of the JFC. Why? And also is Miyu related to her?)

He just has to keep being his amazing self. The guy has such personality and charisma, it's impossible not to be drawn to him. (The skating's pretty good too, I guess ) There's a proverb in my mother tongue that roughly translates to "natural scent travels far" (sorry I'm not articulate) which basically means your real talent will do all the talking for you and it's more effective than any words. I think it's very applicable to Yuzu and his immense presence as a human being even though sometimes it seems like he isn't one Ooh that's a nice quote. But does it mean that if you stink you won't be able to cover it up?

It's Yuzuru. I do think there's only so much he can bend on this matter. I am just grateful that he's so focused on his own health and making sure it's his top priority. If he includes the 4Lz though, I don't think there's going back but on the other hand, I really do not think that it'll be a problem in that case. Well, as much a new jump can not be a problem, ie it'll have the usual growing pains but I think it'll slot in there just fine. Yeah I guess I can't ask him to change too much. Hopefully the 4Lz will be more like his 4Lo and not cause too much trouble.

If he decides to put the 4lz in any of his programs you will never see him taking it out. Even if it does't work good from the beginning. He is stuborn like this. Look at the Ex CoD. I know but I hope he decides to learn some lessons. The Olympics are not a good time to try and land a jump you've never or once landed in competition. I hope he sees that from his 4S at Sochi but then again, he is really stubborn

Ooh I like this thread. Layout talk always fascinates me even though I'm rubbish at it and it gives me headaches. I think he might put the 4lz in and if it doesn't go well he'll take it out, instead of keeping it like with the 4S at Sochi.

I would love if he did Hungarian Rhapsody by Liszt. It's dramatic so perfect for Olympic Season and you can choose loads of different cuts from it.

i love moonlight sonata - it's absolutely beautiful but i doubt he'd do it for olympics since moonlight sonata is too sad... alot of people use it too :cry: Such a shame because Moonlight Sonata is so beautiful. Maybe he could do Hungarian Rhapsody by Liszt? It's my favourite piano piece and there are so many different cuts he could take + it's pretty dramatic

i like to make a banner too... i'm not a graphic designer but i think it will be fun if users can submit banners and stuff... I think it might be fun to have rotating banners, hehehe, surrounding some set dimensions and criteria (for example where the name should be, approximately) Ooh I really hope we get to do a banner competition at some point (maybe like every off season). I remember when my IT teacher taught us how to make animated banners with loads of features :yay:

The Control panel has a board settings feature and one of the options there is to enable notification of replies. I turned it on but haven't been quoted yet to check if it works. Edit: As is happens, this doesn't seem to have done much in terms of notifying you through the inbox here, only through email, and it's in general: as in, when someone replies to the thread, it warns you. It doesn't notify you of direct quotes of your own posts. I don't think I'll turn it on in that case since I don't want to be spammed in my email but thanks anyway. And yeah I hope somehow the mods manage to link it to the PM box or something
