    With what's happening with scoring lately and Olympic season I expect WRs to be broken, whether by Yuzu or others. I think you're setting yourself up to too much stress and anxiety if you focus too much on WRs. As Yuzu said score is score and performance is performance. That WR became a mental block for Yuzu as well. Don't let it consume you too. Right now, he has a healthier attitude with regards to his WR scores - if he performs as he intends to the maximum of his abilities, then the score will follow.

    Japan Open is in collaboration with IMG (talent agency) and Yuzu is not affiliated with any talent agency (as far as I know) which is pretty rare for an athlete his caliber. I think it's his own personal preference not to be managed by a talent agency (he's done well for himself so far - thanks mama Hanyu). He was invited as a special guest in 2011 after the Tohoku earthquake though. Truthfully, I think the timing of the event is the biggest barrier for him attending.

    I've been reading about Yuzu doing '200 forms of fanservice' during ACI medal ceremony. Can anyone who attended elaborate for us poor folks?

    If clean vs clean then Yuzu wins hands down. That being said, Nathan's SP is really compelling - it's fresh and new music to the FS world, brings out his youth and musicality (none of this balletic nonsense American media has been feeding us) so if Yuzu has an off day, of course Nathan has a shot. Whether or not he breaks Yuzu's WR score is another matter. But I think people should just be prepared in case it does happen (right now I think Shoma is actually the closest to doing it). If it happens then it happens. WRs are not gonna stand forever. Yuzu will just have to break it again

    I'll just post my current predictions here while waiting for the questionnaire app just so I'll have some cheat notes (I've been reading the skater's bio in the GP threads provided - especially for pairs & ice dance). Truthfully, it's hard for me to put Yuzu here as first because of his past patterns but his goal for this season is to be healthy and consistent so I'm sending this out to the universe, I guess.
