He might be into different type of genres (and it's kinda easier to say classical as it's universal than to specify/explain Jrock bands or anime music). In most Japanese interviews he usually talks about Jrock bands like One Ok Rock, Pandalion (they even made him a cheer song MV for Sochi!), Hi-fi Camp (he even wrote them a letter when they disbanded), and of course Bump of Chicken (wherein some of their song lyrics are printed out in his UA). He said in Akiko's Room, I think post 2015 NHK trophy, that at SC he was lip-synching to Wada Koji's Butterfly (from Digimon) and recently at ACI there was a photo of his ipod showing he was listening to Access' Doubt & Trust (from the anime D. Grayman).... and of course, Koi Dance. ETA: Just learned that Hi-fi Camp disbanded but has since morphed into the current band, Pandalion . He's also been caught lip-synching to another Jrock band called The Sketchbook.
