  1. you can find the video tittled (2015 World Championships Gala Highlights Produced by Misha Ge) at the 1:33 mark Thank you! Found the video. Oh, the shenanigans! :rofl2:
  2. When in doubt, always ask meoima  Got it. I am asking her. Thanks  ! About the quints, based on the calculations I've seen, it is indeed humanly possible to do (however hard it is). It's just that with the built of 'average' skaters (and by that I mean somewhat lean, medium height, and not too muscled), they would need to cover the ice so much for the jump preparation, that I am not sure how that would be incorporated into a program with a coreo. I'd be awesome if we can somehow have a calculation costumised exactly for Yuzu. :pbow:
  3. All the talk about 4A and quints (what even?!) is making me equal part anxious and excited. I am training to be an applied mathematician in physical field, the math of quintuple jumps make my hips and knees tingle. So glad to see Yuzu back at TCC (and yes, how on earth he looks 16? oh, well. He is in his own planet, so...) and hopefully, more news start coming in. I have a question, but I am so afraid to open a potential can of worms. Have just started following Yuzu since 2014 (and has just recently decided to be more involved), and so do not know his history before then.
  4. Apparently, he also contributed a bit to WTT Team Japan's choreo? This year WTT? I thought the choreographer was Nanami-sensei? I'm gonna blame the choice of music for that
  5. That's it? I mean, I am still undecided whether he will be good at choreographing, but that's not enough to base my judgement on. But anyway, thank you for the link! Also, this is Yuzu we're talking about. What I admire about him is his ability to do whatever he puts his mind to. But also, he knows his limit, so... I'll just wait for him to decide what to do after his, hopefully still years yet to come, r********t.
  6. No doubt about it. I mean we swoon over him in his UA, don't we? Ok, here's a confession. I actually never liked blings and sparkles. Part of it is photophobia - sensitivity towards light and anything reflecting it. So the glittering effect always makes me dizzy. This is the only part of liking Yuzuru that is slightly inconvenient. Liking FS in general, tbh. I understand that sparkles and glitters are almost a trademark for any Japanese skaters, and especially so for Yuzuru, but I'd like to, just once perhaps, see him shock everyone by wearing less sparkly, more muted costume. His PW costume, both version 1 and 2 are my favourite. And then Chopin 1 and 2.
  7. He did one half-assed intro choreo for Team Japan at Marseille. I hardly think that's enough of a history to automatically call him a bad choreographer. I don't think he is very interested in choreographing, anyway. I was reading through the thread, and wasn't sure what cause the bemoaning of his choreographing skill? . So, thanks for the explanation. Anyone got links?
  8. Here's to becoming more knowledgeable about FS! Thanks, meoima!
  9. The bolded! :rofl2: Just to show, these 2 are extra extra when it comes to Fanyu-ing. Mods, feel free to delete this post of mine, if it doesn't fit the thread. Just realised there are not so many posts commenting.
  10. The story of how I come to know figure skating is actually with the ladies. I was introduced to Yuna Kim by my Korean students back in 2009/2010 season. And then got to know Mao as well. Overall, I like Yuna better, but there is no way I can deny Mao's excellence as well. And then Sochi happened. To them both. I mean, what the actual what?! The men's discipline was not as attractive to me then. (And some of the drama that I witness while watching them on the side of watching the ladies were.. just.. Huff! Not that the ladies don't have drama, but for me it was more worth it during that time) Then, on tumblr during that time, there was a video of Yuzu posted: he landed a perfect jump on the ice, then proceeded to slip and fall walking on the floor. A version of this: I find that just adorable! And I remember the gasping, splatting young boy from 2012, and the ugly Jp Nat the following season. And so, binge-watch all of his performances on YouTube it is! And how do you not fall in love with him and his skating?. Just how?. And thus began the long journey of stalking his major competitions, online, at least. My poor broke self :crybaby: . I hope someday I can watch him live. Competition or show or even freaking practice session. Anything.
  11. :rofl2: THIS would surely shock everyone.

Pertama jadi fanyu: pas liat video di tumblr, footage Sochi 2014: Yuzu landed a jump smoothly, trus jatoh keselip pas jalan di lantai. Langsung deh, cek smua video dia di YouTube.
