The CBC Olympics tweet has been deleted, yeah? Or I couldn't find it somehow? Anyway. I need to find a way to block the media somehow. Especially, and please forgive this blanket assessment, North American media. I am fed up with how they cover politics, should not have been surprised about how they cover the sport.

Quoting from the other general thread. The pair team who did that was Volosozhar/Trankov, IIRC. They won Gold in Sochi using that strategy. Which shall forever tarnish their victory in my eyes. Not blaming them, just how the whole situation left a bitter taste in my mouth. Yeah, the 'carry over' mentality needs to go. Judge what happened on the actual performance. You are not grading students in school, judges. The scores are not 'progress report', and even if they are you are doing it wrong.

About the media, if it will create less pressure for Yuzu, that's good. I also sincerely hope then that Shoma can cope with the burden/expectation being on him. Neither of them can win with this media circus, can they?

Ok, now I need someone to probably tell me when it is safe to be back because I am preeeeeetty sure there will be media shenanigans happening. I am zen with Yuzu not winning this, so I would rather not be unnecessarily aggravated by media the coverage. Pretty please...

@Aotoshiro, I have had plenty of experience being called derogatory 'nicknames', I claim it back whenever I can. But I understand it can only ever be personal choices. 'Satellites' is such a great name, considering we do orbit this Planet Hanyu, whose population is THE ONE.

I refer to myself as a Fanyu, proudly. But, yeah. I don't think it matters much what label we put on. I use satellites to refer to the collective members of this forum.
