    Thank gods the last time he was out of the podium was 2014NHK then... Imagine the salt level earth would reach otherwise... actually, is there any other bronze medal in his collection from Senior competition? (Aside from the small medals... Too lazy to check OTL)

    This been haunting me ever since I first heard Johnny was the one to use dying swan before Yuzu and I checked it... Thanks god he didn't go for it indeed. I wonder where sea lettuce and angry seaweed come from... though maybe I don't want to know xD

    I'm betting my money on inspiration, since Jonny was so enraged by not enough sparkles enamored with it that he went and designed R&J 2. Don't worry, NDP is still higer on my list than Zigeunerweisen, so that might mean I like it, too! (Not really, even trashy bagpants are better than Zigeunerweisen, but hey, NDP has beautiful sleeves and differently colored gloves, so I MIGHT like it...)

    O-kay, before I get misunderstood, I want new, fresh FP music like everyone else, but... I listened to A.Korzeniowski's R&J's soundtrack from 2013, and I just...while this doesn't entirely sounds like a skating music to me, neither did Chopin before Yuzu. And since (again, like with Chopin) he proved (time and time again...) he can work with what Polish composers produce, if THAT was a R&J 3, I think I wouldn't even be that mad? The costume would be a problem, tho. The buffy sleeves go into Chopin outfit, so he would have to go with something *original* and since he is Yuzuru Hanyu... but that's off topic, sorry!

    It's the water...or maybe that meat dish Shizuka mentioned at the monument uncovering ceremony... also apparently during Yuzu's mushroom time, he had a chance to skate with Honda on the same rink, though they haven't really talked...

Either that or they're awwwing at how gold and silver medallists can be this precious with each other (I have no idea which competition it's from, but the funny thing is, whichever it is-GPF or Worlds- they're still gold and silver medallists...)

    I lol at all the similarities...but also at the fact that it's not quad which is a first jumping pass (reserved for the hardest jumps, right?) But axel xD. That being said, if we cut out the costume and long prep time the engagement in skating is similar to what Yuzu do... I think?

    There's no problem with setting up for quads and axels when going in both directions, but the setup for the interview is just too strong...

It's like he was ski jumping, while balancing a tray with wine in one hand.' Now I need a photoshop of this photoshop of Yuzu in ski jumping landing position...

Off topic a bit, but I recently bought a summer dress in a really bright color, which I usually try to avoid, and only now it enlightened me why I adore it despite my not so good relationship with said color: It has Chopin sleeves. And is red. Red Chopin...

    Okay, but, why is nobody talking about this- Chopins are discussing their third brother looks, meanwhile Princes are playing rock-paper-scissors in the background, Phantoms are planning on taking over the world with masks and wine, and Parisienne Walkways are chilling with ice-cream. Meanwhile the eternal Pooh costume drinks his honey and wonder when will it's turn come (don't come, plis xD). I think the corset thingy came from waist sash evolution...doesn't mean I support it though. I'm sucker for elaborate sleeves with wrist cuffs, or flowing sleeves with bell-like/kimono finishes, so anything that has one of this is automatically liked by me- I have such low standards

    The only guess I have is that he won't use Tchaikovsky's R&J as a R&J3 (if this was to happen) as it is supposedly a cursed piece in skating (thank god for suggested vids on YT for pointing that out to me). Something upbeat, as he mentioned that he enjoyed the dynamic of upbeat Short-piano Long, and since Chopin took the Short... well, you get what I mean. Also, something easier to understand, maybe not a warhorse (unless it's POTO again...I wouldn't scratch that idea for him...), but definitely something that is/easily will become popular, so a movie soundtrack maybe, a song he and Shae-Lynn will like, something like that. A wild thought but, Malaguena for a Long? Javier would have time of his life watching Yuzu learn it xD

    Thankfully white is expected only in galas, where you perform in dark surroundings so you're visible in it (plus, you sparkle, if you're Yuzuru), and as LGC1 taught us (and Yuzu) this season, performing groundbreaking stuff in white clothes makes it a little less visibly epic, and I feel that costume makers would cry themselves to sleep if Yuzuru was ever made to wear a really black, not like PW1 black, costume, because it would require some kind of agreement from Yuzu and I can only imagine how that could go Staff: How about an all-black costume, Yuzu? You'll look great! Yuzu:...umm, yeah but add some sparkles. Staff: O-kay... "we can go with it" *after first fitting* Yuzu: more sparkles. *after second fitting* Yuzu more *after nth fitting* Yuzu: Moore...

    My guess is that Seimei 2.0 won't happen (unless as an ex[let it be the original costume], but I still hope for LGC ex for Olys), but Chopin is basically like this+ unending strive for perfection/'how would it be to skate i uninjured???' curiosity xD

    Like most of the newer fans I had a YoI stroke, but that was the middle, let's start from the beginning. As a person whose internet existence started with the fandom where tennis killed dinosaurs canonverse (I'm serious), the talk about new skating anime made me go a bit meh ('not ridiculous enough, not enough bishies, not enough sparkles [Ginban Kaleidoscope from 2006 was still in my memory as 'good kids anime']), at least until I didn't hear songs (I'm hopeless for waltz-ish pop...) in the prev and see a post about how ridiculous the jumps were (I think Chibura's? I know I reblogged it from another sports anime fan...)in the first ep, and then binge watched first three eps (another inside joke of my original fandom was the {layback} Ina Bauer), and since I tend to go overboard, I went to a 'why Yuuri is Yuzuru' thread, decided it's too immature and needs facts included, went to Yuzu's wiki, discovered he skated to Swan Lake AND Chopin and I was sold (plus, I forgot to write my counterargument on the thread, but I guess it means I really AM too old to feel like and argue with fellow 12 years olds xD). Chopin 2nd was my first competitive program of his I watched, White Legend his first ex (Javi's Exes from this season were the first from other skaters xD), then Worlds R&J v1 (where I had a 'wait a moment it's after Tohoku, isn't it?' moment), then SEIMEI which had me sold completely. Ironically, Sochi hadn't been watched before I ran out of the other programs to watch, with the exception of the competition-whose-name-you-shan't-speak and Chopin v1, which came after it, but I feel excused, as my country is crazy about snow sports (Thus Sochi connects mainly with 'broken foot' to me), but we're literal ice desert, with our only reps (ice dance and, since this year, men singles) still having to fight for places at PC at Nebelhorn, and even once they get it, they barely have a chance for top 20, so... That's -a really shortened- story of how come I am here, in love with a skater older than me not even by two years and with experiences that I will never have most probably. Bonus random info: Yuzuru won his first junior GP assignment in my country!

    Carmen as a piece is fine for me.. but for a skating music. Ehh.. probably not. I just think it's overused. I can't think of a war horse I really like tbh but again I'm not really knowledgeable on warhorses, plus I haven't followed skating for that much longer. I'm honestly scared he'll use Carmen, because, you know, 2002 OG, Plushenko, this type of stuff... (I pray Javi's reused EX at WTT will keep him away tho...) I'm still in the R&J v.3 bandwagon as far as warhorses gp, the only question is, which RJ? Tchaikovsky? Prokofiev? Judges love Russian composers after all...or maybe that French musical from early 2000s? It got a renewed version in Japan back in 2016...?

    yuzuri hanyu is another variation that comes to mind (sochi SP, anyone?) :rofl2: So, I guess for that otome game, every Yuzu could have a different name, huh? Onmyouji Yuzu is actual Yuzuru Dark Yuzu is Yu/azura(annoyed at being called girl's name) Cute Yuzu is just Yuzu Cool Yuzu is Yuzuri (bc Sochi!) And...I forget what other types are=_=

    GDI, only three votes... :ohno: Sorry Seimei, but H&L was the first FS I waited for, lurked on streams, and prayed for all the jumps... your BF Chopin gets a voice tho! I had to give R&J 1 a vote, too, it's just lovely, nd I kind of feel that giving a LP a vote is like giving half a point for SP, too (sorry Etude, but you aren't my centre of focus, although You were one of the 'change his weaknessess into strenghts' masterpieces by Nanami-sensei).

    Wow, I love the analysis that appeared here, most of them describe perfectly what I feel when watching H&L... :goe: I've already guessed Yuzu'll use the 'bird' song for either one of the programs or for the EX, since both swans (White Legend and Notte Stellata) hold a special meaning to him, but now that I'm looking through my history on YT, I kinda want to send this one to him: The only problem-it's too short xDD. But yeah, a warhorse is most probable, isn't it? Though I doubt Jeff will agree on it in the SP (I hope...)
