On a side note, I've decided to show my mom who's fifty something what I'll be talking about for the next six or seven months Yuzuru's Seimei performance I had saved on my laptop, and her summary was basically that: "With ice skating, we watched pairs, dance and ladies because they were beautiful and gracious, while men were something like a show of power more than art. Still catching up with the threat (you're insane guys, keep going), but I wanted to put my three cents on that masculine-feminine Yuzu discussion. Remember his a big fanboy of Mansai Nomura? Yeah, hard to forget what with the rebirth of SEIMEI. So, remember the second Onmyouji movie, and the final "Amaterasu summoning"? Kyogen and Noh in which Nomura-san was trained, were for a long time reserved only for the male actors, so it was absolutely natural for them to embrace their feminine side, as it was required (some specialized in onna-kata roles, but I'm gonna skip that or I'll gush) for their art. The scene in the movie I mentioned before is a perfect example- Seimei/Nomura doesn't bother to be embarrassed to portray a goddess of fun, because it's performance (and hella good if I might say so). Yuzuru do exactly same thing on ice. More than a matter of feminine-masculine, as people like to classify it, it's a matter of performative talent+open mind, versus absolute lack of both^^

Maybe add Javi's Silver/bronze, after adding GOLD 2018 on Yuzuru's? (My dream podium of all TCC won't happen I know, but I sincerly hope for one of them to land beside Yuzu^^)

N...ope. Tracy hands down, her 'oh my goodness me' is my favorite saying ever I personally enjoy a Tascher-Szewczyk duo which used to comment for Polish Eurosport (ironically, even though it's my native language, I listen to them last, bc I don't have TV xD), and the fact that Tascher is quite fair in his judging while Szewczyk is basically Polish Max Ambiesi when it gets to Yuzuru xD I think that he, Oda and Max would have a field day, meeting up and fanboying together. Tascher most memorable quote for me was at the start of one of theYuzu's SPs for the 15/16 I think: "It's Chopin, as you can already hear. Japanese know he was Polish" (it was after one of ice network writers decided to write Chopin next to French composers xD) And Szewczyk's, after Barcelona'14: "Really, we need a bulldozer here [to get those Poohs], those little girls can't keep up with the rain and he's not the last to skate, you know!" Plus, they always positively freak out at how nice Javi and Yuzu are to each other (we're too sensitive to rivals being nice to each other after Plushenko-Yagudin war, I guess). Also, I don't remember his name, but japanese comentator for the 2011 Nationals/Nice? He sometimes is with Oda, I think? His: "A seventeen yo opened a door to the world with his own power" and "those feeling reached the world!" Make me smile every time.

Love the Everest comparision xD re:Yuzu bashing, that's why I love uncle Kurt- I remember seeing few of the Requiem of Heavn&Earth Exes with his commentary, and he openly admitted he cannot get into it, but still had a nice word- for edge control, for YOLO!3A at GPF... you can have a different, maybe bordering on what people call "Negative", opinion, and still be a polite, aware of the strong points the skater (or any person, really) have. That's why, while I close my eyes every time Shoma prepares for a jump, I can have his step and choreo sequences on replay (Techno Harmonica from 2015/16 SP still beats any other one) and never get bored xD re: not checking forum for what it is, I think it's even better- The Admin Team (May the Great Pooh reward them in tickets for Yuzu comps) work really hard on keeping the forum free of unjustified rumors, or at least, keeping them with corrections, what I have seen maintained only in very small communities (and if the no of the page this post is on suggest anything, we're anything but small ), so people relying on word of the mass (aka nobody's responsibility) and not checking at the source would only add work to keeping the planet clean^^ re: toxic environment (not in this quote, but I've seen it somewhere 20 pages ago), the most toxic thing I've noticed so far is the thirst for Yuzu gifs(or his 4Lz-...ekhem...) , and the smoke that raise after we combust once we get enough dose of daily Yuzu, which is a problem- we should keep the smoke out of the Hanyu Planet's atmosphere, or our swans will need more tissues to clean themselves after a flight!
