If you listen to the B.ESP at 4CC'17 FS you'll hear Simon trying to go all Fanyu at the YOLO jumps, and Mark going all 'meh, pops, vulnerable' and Simon going with him with a heavy heart of 'yeah, he seemed vulnerable for some time now [or maybe only since the last season, WHICH IS NORMAL]'

I definitely didn't, but I'm spoiled,my first really watched program of his was Chopin, and you know, his music just comes off as a soft fighter and not fightress? Then there was Seimei, jump to R&J1, then current season...yeah,but then again, I always had sporty slender/gymnastic and not packed guys as my stereotype for men (volleyballers in the family do NOT help to change this, neither do background in the Japanese stageplay fandom...), so I shouldn't count As for stereotypizing people based on physical appearance-somebody already said that but isn't it the effect of Yuzuru having some taste in actual costumes in manliness-challenging colors and rocking in them? You know,straight men aren't supposed to be this confident and all that no offense meant to you guys... I always just found him aesthetically pleasing, so did my mom when I showed her SEIMEI...but then again, she's an older generation

Aside of the fact we might want to go for the quadsters' Junior comps to compare, even if there are slightly different requirements for those, to be fair to the uncles, I still have a masterpost-in-making, about how you cannot find a competition with Yuzuru taking part in it without him being somewhere on the podium photo basically since 2014, aside of COC (because he was in the damn HOSPITAL) and NHK '14 (self-explanatory). Though, if I am honest, I don't see, really don't see anything else you can stick to him for PR purposes, aside of consistency he himself has a problem with (as in, he's annoyed perfectionist that just recently discovered the mistake-is-a-human-thing quote). Hiding, because it's a bit long and I'm ranting by the end at bad journalism, but the overal point is: if nothing that you stick stays, the only thing you can accuse him of is the thing he himself sees as an issue, even if any. (1)According to his interviews, it's the reverse - he knew he'd reuse SEIMEI for PC since GPF2015. Chopin is only after Worlds, AND after talk with Jeff, before FaOI. (2)I'm personally glad he didn't go for POTO- warhorse of the season is Turandot for TJ anyway- only for his personal warhorses; in an Olympic season, choosing something less known is a risky move not many decide to make (that's what sets Nathan apart from Shoma, sorry baby), and while Chopin is classic, I've never actually seen anybody besides Yuzu do a Ballade as a competition program, aside from Mao Asada(and that was fluff competition). As somebody said, if judges had problems with three-peating the same program music (because let's face it, program itself IS different from technical point of view, and that's what has/should have judges interest), we wouldn't have ANY warhorses, since people would stray from using the music they saw used before, as judges "would be more harsh" for choosing it again. Like, in a 14/15 season Team Japan would have to change at least three programs to avoid repeating just POTO music! (though yeah, I love Yuzu's POTO the most from this season xD)

Just saying, but from the competitions listed in that post, there's no chance they had measured half of Yuzu's solo triples, since almost all of them are the freaking second part of combination. Which is. Kind of. Disturbing. When you see his are still in the top 10 between the solo triples of other people? Unless I understand wrong and it's actually easier to get height on the second part of the combo Also, just as Xerya, still curious about the distance here...

If I am honest I drank much more before becoming of age than after that, but it might be because of my sweet tooth xD I'm super sensitive to the taste of alcohol, so if it's not very sweet, I'm more likely to take a sip and then keep one glass for the rest of the evening (or pass it over to my brother and take juice). Not a specialist there, but his jumps go up rather than forward (thank you, Data man!), so he relies on the speed of the rotation to get all the rotations in before landing (don't trust my eyes, but something with his takeoff bothers me as well...), contrary to for example Yuzu whose big jumps rely on getting into air, and go for almost four metres before landing back on the ice.

Since I just had a panic attack over how unprepared I am for my first ever student exchange (any satellite from Lubljana?), I had to do a bit of calendar math and yikes, it's not really that long....I don't want to terrify anybody, but we have barely four months and a week till the start of PyeongChang...if we separate time into smaller portions (ie, with Yuzuru's competitions), you have month till Rostelecom, then NHK and GPF, then by the end of December the Nats, then one month of suspension (though I'm like 100% sure there is B cat events in January too) and then tha great stage...

The @yuzupon's adaptation of the 'Fanyu' term is what apparently happened to the LGBT+ terminology- basically, people invented the word to insult one group, and the group went and dragged it out of their antis' mouth, making it theirs. I personally enjoy the name fanyu, since it has a nice, melodious ring in my native tongue's set accent, and the term itself basically highlight that you're a FAN, not an UBER, or somebody's else anti. That being said, just as in the analogy, I understand people disliking the word for its original connotations (mocking, insulting, belittling), and try to use it only with the first person pronouns to make sure the only person I can possibly offend is myself And, well, as with any other label, they were created to ease our understanding of the world, but the only ones that really matter, are those you give yourself- if you want to have one, go ahead, if you don't need it for happiness, that's just as cool^^ Satellites is one of the kindest, cutest inside jokes/pet names I was let on in, and thanks to the admin team's hard work, I think it might actually replace/oppose 'Fanyu' as the name of Yuzuru international fans orbiting around their god-erm, favorite, without negative taste fanyu leaves in some people's mouth (if Max's twitter reaction to seeing our banner is any indication, or Tracy's receiption of the swans project...Thanks @Hydroblade for making those situations come true!)
