  1. Woah moving alone to such a far-away foreign country at the age of 17 when he doesn’t know the language well must have been scary - I definitely can’t imagine doing that!
  2. It does make sense he chose pink, I think it would have matched the vibe of the programme better Pink would suit springtime much more than blue Side note: every time I use these Yuzu emoticons I wonder what he would think if he is actually reading this forum and comes across these... For all we know he could be reading this right now and we will never know...
  3. Omg I never knew you’re here too!! I love all your videos 😍
  4. Yeah as far as I know Grafstrom is the only triple Olympic champion! Although during his time, I think figure skating would have looked very, very different from present-day figure skating. And yes, it must be amazing for the Hanyu family to get to spend so much time together, I think since 2012 when Yuzu started training in Canada?
  5. True, it’ll be hard for him if his mum can’t be there I can’t imagine having to skate at such a high level, study, do housework and cook all at once all by myself, seems like a lot to handle 😖
  6. Don't know why but somehow blue HYK looks very beautiful as well in a different way...
  7. Insane, considering it's been a few hours already? Just how many people are trying to access the site?
  8. I know jump entries from just crossovers aren’t Yuzu’s style in general but I think he might make an exception for 4A? At least at the beginning where it’s too risky to think about transitions... then again I’m off-topic here and no one can predict what this mysterious man is thinking so 🤷‍♀️
  9. I believe Yuzu's JSF profile has been updated? I still can't access the site though, I think too many people are trying to access it so it kind of crashed ><
  10. Regarding the Zhenya and quads topic: I think it's hard to say whether or not she can eventually achieve one! I guess it will be harder for her to do it compared to Liza because Liza already has a 3A and all before she started working on quads, but I don't think it necessarily means it's impossible. Just because there isn't a 20 year old with Zhenya's technique who managed to achieve a quad before, it doesn't mean she can't be the first! Just because no one has done something before, it doesn't make it impossible. Before the first quad was landed (I believe it was by Kurt Browning) people didn't know if they were possible. Someone had to be the first one to do it before everyone could see that it's possible. Yuzu's 4A can be another example as well. It's a different issue of course, but all these feats just go to show that we never truly know if something is really impossible until someone does it! Sorry this kind of turned into a motivational speech But of course whether or not it’s worth the injury risk and toll on her body is another thing...
  11. Thank you!! We learn something new every day I think this just came out:
  12. Update: Kevin himself reposted! What does MDR mean tho
  13. I know what you mean, I can't pinpoint why but I find it hard to imagine Yuzu on roller skates too XD But considering so many skaters have been trying it out I think it's quite likely he might have... Unless for such high-level skaters it might mess up their ice technique? And yes I agree that for jumps especially it would help! I think getting used to jumping with such heavy weights on our feet will probably make ice skates feel weightless when we are back on the ice so hopefully it'll make our jumps higher! Although I find it VERY frightening to attempt to axel on them (I still can't do it on the ice so maybe that's why) Also falling on concrete is so much more painful than falling on ice T_T
  14. Jun also danced to BTS on the same show (3rd video) Truly a boy of many talents!
  15. Junhwan singing on a Korean TV show!! This boy could actually make a pretty good Kpop idol if he wasn’t a skater! Seeing as he is also good at dancing haha. I guess this means he is still in South Korea?
  16. Hmm, what frames are you using? (I’m using Pic frames) The ice is still so much better but roller skates are useful to have for practising steps when we can’t travel to the rink I guess! I wonder if Yuzu got himself a pair...
  17. I’m not much of a fan of roller skating though... soooo heavy and am I the only one who can’t spin in them??
  18. Amazing how much work went into the costume!! Regarding the “support all skaters equally” topic, I think there are people who do so, but I don’t think all figure skating fans should be obliged to do the same - after all this is sport and everyone will have their favourites!
  19. Somehow, I got a bit of second hand embarrassment watching this (look at the man and the lady judging him at the back) XD
  20. Random but I was scrolling through this Yuzu fan account on instagram (@/yuzu_yuzuru) and realised that Sergei Rozanov liked several posts from the 2018 Olympics days... wonder if he’s a Yuzu fan too 😯
  21. She is so talented!! I wonder, did she choreograph that herself? Or was it someone else?
  22. Hmm I'm not surprised he agrees though! I mean under ISU's definition, not giving it to Yuzu is objectively wrong, no matter who one's favourite skater is... MVS is actually one category where the winner can be objectively determined. Other categories like best costume, best coach, most entertaining programme etc are pretty subjective... Even for the lifetime achievement award there are several candidates that would deserve it: Kim Yuna, Aljona Savchenko, Virtue/Moir and of course Yuzu. Although if they are only awarding active skaters, then it's just Yuzu I guess.
  23. It just seems more and more people are upset over this awards thing, both the skating community and the skating fans...
