I was just watching 2015 GPF Chopin and 2020 4CC Chopin and... wow. He has improved so much!! 2015 is amazing and the best in the world at that time. But the 2020 version just blew that out of the water... The only person that can make Yuzu pale in comparison is.... Yuzu himself indeed. Always striving to improve even when he's at the top, even after his numerous achievements. And I still think 4CC 2020 Chopin deserved full marks

I have been like this since February

I think as Yuzu said himself, he thrives under pressure. He must be undergoing SO much pressure every single day - the hope of the entire nation, the knowledge that all eyes of the media are on him and expecting him to do well, fans from all over the world that traveled far just to watch him, the fact that he can't afford mistakes as he is already underscored even when he skates flawlessly, his own perfectionism... sooo many factors just related to his skating. And outside of skating he has the added pressure of his university studies, the pressure for him to appear perfect in front of the media+all the fan cameras on him every moment... I really don't know how he does all that! I just hope that he knows we all love him so much, whether he skates clean or not... and that this knowledge will give him some comfort. Talking about Yuzu on planes... won't it be awkward if he happens to be seated near or even next to a fan, or someone who knows him?

Don't know about you guys but how does one study in a plane? The lighting is terrible and even if not for that I just can't focus and get headaches...

He really is, even the commentator at GPF2019 (can’t remember his name) described Yuzuru as “enigmatic”. Which I 100% agree with! He’s confusing and it’s hard to predict his next move or what he is thinking, and he’s also so mysterious

So true! Very few skaters actually manage to combine both, and Yuzu does it best. And the food analogy is a great way to explain it! Hope someone from ISU reads this XD Although if Yuzu still decides to stay on in this new system, I wonder how he will make use of it to his advantage and make his programmes still breathtakingly beautiful 😍

I guess if Yuzuru is human, he is a very very disciplined one, with amazing time management skills and never procrastinates, giving him the ability to do so well in school and on the ice! Sometimes I don’t know if I should admire him, or be jealous of him...

So true, it’s amazing how pretty much everyone in Sendai puts in effort for him and his family to keep their privacy. It would be a living nightmare for him if people started stalking him 😭 He is Sendai’s treasure after all!

I wonder if he gets the asian flush when drinking alcohol! Also now that you mention his father... I realised I don’t actually know a single thing about his dad? Yuzu hardly ever mentions him right?

He looks good in anything tbh, like he is probably the only person that can pull off his competition costumes! I mean these costumes are pretty but I just can’t imagine other skaters wearing them haha

Yes it is!! And HAHA the way the video looks almost the same as the one from his JOC message but his hair looks longer now! And he seems to be in a good mood!
