  1. Daria, Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov’s daughter, skating. She never took skating competitively as far as I’m aware (although she skated with her mum and little sister Liza at the Kristi Yamaguchi Friends & Family show in 2005). Liza, Katia’s daughter with Ilia Kulik, is a competitive skater in the US.
  2. Yea, I don’t think the UK has the infrastructure to hold anything rn haha skating is kinda dead here unfortunately. But one can dream! I think Minsk could be an option because of how smoothly everything went in Euros regarding organisation, but that’s not so convenient for me so I would prefer it were somewhere else haha
  3. For my own convenience I want Euros 22 in Sheffield and Worlds 22 in Budapest or Montpellier
  4. I’m quite excited about Exogenesis after watching Zhenya’s video. Let’s see how she improves towards next season.
  5. 2am in mine... I think I’m gonna pass this time hahah
  6. I will miss Zhenya’s Biellmann and I’m kinda worried about her back. Hopefully she’ll be stronger in future seasons.
  7. Funny that he would talk about narcissism lol
  8. Rika is the kind of person I’d cherish in my office haha
  9. To me, Marina Zueva is one of the best. Maybe she’s more well-known because of her coaching Tessa and Scott and the Shibsibs, but she also created some of the most iconic programs for Gordeeva and Grinkov. As a choreographer she has worked too with Sasha Cohen, Marin Honda and Yulia Lipnitskaya.
  10. I feel so sad for her. Plush should have respected her privacy, be a decent human being and not portray her as an emotional wreck. She’s a child. If you’re a coach and you have a student crying and having what looks like panic attacks that often you should maybe ask yourself if there’s something you could do instead of putting all the blame in your student.
  11. I will miss our uncle ;_; at least there’s another Majorov with insane amounts of chaotic energy on line (cousin Majorov?)
  12. I would say yes to keep the content as PH centred as possible and picture based bc Yuzu probably doesn’t have much time to read through a fan book. I know many of us here skate, so we could add some pics from the fans who skate or were otherwise inspired by Yuzu in a “thank you” spread.
  13. Thank you @Veveco !! For the kind of project we wanna do I’d say 4A size so any illustrations will be shown in a decent size and glossy pages so the graphics and colors will look vibrant and sharp. And I think a paperback will be both cheaper and more convenient (if the book ends up being too long it won’t be too heavy) but if you guys prefer a hardback we can work with that as well! As as for the interiors, I think it will be best to think of layouts and design styles once we have a better idea of all the content that’s going to be in the book
  14. in case someone wants to suggest music for misha’s new programs... you still have time!
  15. I’m a big nerd for statistics and data and always willing to learn more about the technical side of the sport so THANK YOU!
  16. Thank you for translating! Such an interesting interview
  17. Yeah, but in Zhenya’s case I don’t think it’s just an athlete taking care of their diet. Back when she was with Eteri she had a very complicated relationship with food and body image and she’s opened up about it in the past. In that documentary they made of Alina and Zhenya for Russian TV both girls seemed to be very obsessed with their weight and weigh-ins and Zhenya almost panicked because she thought they were going to film her weight on the scale. So in Zhenya’s case I do worry whenever she talks about her diet in terms of weight
  18. It’s sad that Evgenia still thinks of her diet in terms of weight
  19. Kolyada is looking for music for his new programs:
