I can take Queen and Les Mis but the rest? Hopefully we’ll get some programs with interesting music this year!! I’m hoping for Yuzu -
I will miss how comforting and pure Yuzu’s blog entries were oh

And since we are from all over the world it will be easier to have users attend competitions and shows and cover them or even hopefully interview the skaters and coaches. I think it’s a good idea and I agree about having a more generic name that relates to FS in general and not just to Yuzuru.

That’s a wonderful idea! I skimmed through the ISU rules to get PH and it might be hard to get the accreditation but we sure could try!

I join the please no more Moulin Rouge movement -
Shame on Ian. Who does that to anyone, let alone your dance partner of 10 years? I understand Eliana needs time of process everything but at the same time I want her to return to skating and THRIVE to spite Ian.

Ahhh, I understand your take. To me fs, ballet and rhythmic gymnastics for example are both an art and a sport and while I agree that technical perfection should always be an aim I do see that as part of the sport... but judging systems are so incredibly flawed

Would you mind me asking why? Gymnastics does, especially rhythmic. It’s in a similar situation as FS. I don’t know about diving tho.

I actually do think ballet should be an Olympic sport with guidebooks to ensure objective scoring as there is good technique and bad technique

There’s a whole handbook of regulations that’s reviewed and updated regularly but sure. GOE is subjective. Let’s just burn the handbook and hand scores based on the judges personal preference of skaters only

I must say I haven’t tried natto and I wanna but I’m a bit fussy with textures 😅 Uncle Majorov posted a story trying natto in the Saitama hotel and seemed to like it hehe

Imagine being an athlete in a competitive sport and believing the regulations are subjective...

[TW] Sexual Abuse & Misconduct in Figure Skating
anski replied to sallycinnamon's topic in Knickknacks: General Skating Chat
I’m glad this case is beginning to get more coverage and USFS is getting its share of criticism. If the allegations are true this seems to be the all too usual case of a powerful organisation covering up abuse. -
Kolyada’s IG post regarding his withdrawal from WTT. Translation:

This is so sad. I’m so proud of her for fighting for herself, but I’m just so so sad eating disorders are so recurrent in our sport
