He'll still need them even in the briefest time he's out of his cave, and I say this as someone who always wears long sleeved shirts+trousers going out. Sunscreen is vital! ...alright, maybe not so much in the winter, but in other seasons? Sunscreen! Better safe than sorry...

Well it's a cosmetics company event, kinda understandable why they picked that color for him yea they could have made the overall atmosphere and look more youthful and *cool* but that's not what they aimed for there, but hey, still a pleasant event overall, so... Come to think of it, this should be put into marketing books as an example of marketing anomaly — on paper Yuzu is a poor example of beauty product ambassador (eg. not using any facial care product when he should have been as a brand ambassador... heck he doesn't even know much about it ) so any marketing campaign with him should have flopped, but his star power is so enormous that it did more than compensate for his supposed lack as a brand ambassador for a beauty product. This kind of power might only appear once in a generation, for what it's worth, and as I type this I don't think there are any other athletes with a brand endorsement situation similar to Yuzu's Sekkisei situation — not even athletes from more popular sports. Never underestimate the power of Hanyuconomy, folks! PS: Yuzu, this is a long shot but if you happen to read this, the least you can do about your own facial skincare is to have sunscreen on your face (and the rest of the skin, really) — blazing sunray is human skin's worst enemy! ...and moisturizer too, but hey, washing your face daily is more than enough for bare minimum facial skincare 😅😅😂

Speaking of goat sacrifice got me thinking — if you are fortunate enough to live near/have an Arabic/Middle Eastern grill restaurant in your place then go there and order a menu of lamb/goat grill...(lamb grill kebab, lamb grill dish with flat bread/rice, what have you), or even any other places that have lamb grill on the menu... That might work as a sacrifice of sorts for Yuzu.... are you suuuuuureeeeeeee ...while I do believe in *higher* powers I try not to put too much of my thought on them, that said FS competitions (esp. GP series) make it exceedingly hard not to do so... ...I just want Yuzu to pass all the comps trouble-free, why is that too much to ask??

Yamagata is on the west coast of Honshu island and while Yamagata and Miyagi prefecture are bordering each other (and the earthquake can be felt in Sendai) the tsunami risk applied to the west coast of Honshu island, not the east coast. Yea I knew I commented way late on this, but I guess this bears repeating... Also I hope everyone in Niigata and Yamagata is safe and everything resumes back to normal swiftly.

If I were Yuzu I might even be willing to fund the latest research in earphone development 😏 Apologies for being debbie downer but I won't hold my breath on that one...(even if they were financially capable of doing so (ie. sending the giveaway prize worldwide)) Then again it's already a good thing to have him doing this kind of engagement...

As shocking the quad attempts could be, at least the quads he attempted at FaOI were quads that have been jumped (occasionally successfully) by other skaters, and afterwards.... Brace yourself for the monster....

I knooooowww, which is why I am now more torn than before... Like, let Yuzu speak Japanese by all means (especially during interviews), but then I don't want him to always feel uncomfortable either when he speaks English, even when speaking only short sentences (and especially outside interviews). ...and this isn't exactly a trade-off of sorts either, not always anyway... Though now I hope that he does feel somewhat more comfortable speaking just teeny bit of English in daily settings... Alright I'll stop at this >_<

I've been learning Japanese for a while and while I am now able to understand TV broadcasts a bit better (including the ones Yuzu is in ) I still need a translation to make sure that I understand him correctly. On one hand I want him to be at his most comfortable during interviews (ie. he conducts his interview in Japanese whenever possible, wherever in the world), but on the other hand I hope he gets less and less uncomfortable speaking English... I know this seems a bit selfish especially after the recent P&G talk show but I just hope that he always feels his most comfortable in communication... During this time of the year we often wish that he'd go to rehab in private rather than having some more public engagements (eg. ice shows, talk shows with your sponsor company, what have you), but it seems that this kind of engagement is beneficial to his physical recovery after all. The rehab process in private could feel a bit lonely, and while Yuzu is the type used to solitude, he could definitely use some direct support in form of the audience in the ice shows. There are other things to be mindful of (ice conditions, audience expectations weighing in your mind), but on the whole it still turns out as a positive thing for him. Here's hoping to the soundness of both of your ankles, Yuzu
