I cringed at first when I first saw Nathan's FS, especially the music — no, not the song choice, but how it was put together, that's the cringeworthiest part... ...but then again, who am I to talk about it? Elton John has made *such* type of songs, and he might (or let other people he trusts) do that again, so I won't s__t on the song choice too much, especially not on the latter part of the song omg why did they do Bennie and the Jets dirty, but like I say, whatever... . It's what Nate's gonna do with the song (in his choreo etc.), and I am on the more optimistic standpoint that — barring significant exceptions — any skater can skate to any song/music piece they pick, given that they know what to do with the song (and how well they do it). The first footage we saw definitely doesn't show him (and his program) in a positive light — who knows what will happen next? Although if you're one of the more cynical audience members you'd probably answer "nothing!" immediately ...that said, I know the (possibly) least surprising thing that would happen with Nate regarding this FS — he wouldn't pick a flashy costume worthy of an homage to Elton John :v (in fact I'd be more surprised if he picks a flashy costume than if he were able to skate his FS with proper amount of transition, skating skills, etc )

I kinda get where you came from — Lotte team has this obligation to look *trendy*, though if you look at Yuzu he is not exactly the person who always try to keep with the latest trends excepting earphones I guess 😏 , so for their ad photosets they always have to make him look trendy, which doesn't always hit the mark case in point the Xylitol guppy costume 😅😂😂. In contrast Nishikawa just attempts to show him as he is, and a lot of Yuzu's fans are already happy just to see him in his elements so... that's the reason why...

Nah, the only appropriate title for Yuzu would be the ice emperor. Yes, I said it, The Ice Emperor. This way other skaters may have those "quad king" titles and whatnot but remember who is above all those kings and dukes and dames? EMPEROR. And not just on jumps, but every aspect imaginable of figure skating. Hence Ice Emperor, not just jumps or anything...

Kazuki's MR is actually quite interesting when viewed without music 😅 I guess I am that easy to please huh, a sufficient amount of steps and a nice line et voilà! The monotony however sets in once you view it with the music — his amount and manner of movement is the same no matter how the music goes (ie. no synchronicity between the music and the choreo, a mismatch in the interpretation). I mean, the choreo can simply have him move in a delicate, gliding manner in the slow parts and then move energetically and with more snap into his choreo in the fast parts (this all, of course, is with the assumption that the music cuts was adequate). That's not what happened with the choreo. He performed with the same intensity throughout the program. I sure hope they can vary the choreo more (ie. matches it better with the music), but let's just see if that will really happen... As for the music, I...don't have anything with the source material to begin with. Can the music cut be better? Sure, I guess. What's certain is that the edit feels a bit disjointed in the middle. At least they didn't try to make a MR digest ala sambo's POTO digest I guess...

...so he did try drinking at one time and he seems to be such a lightweight (featherweight(!!!)) drinker, were he to keep drinking from that point onwards... just the imagery of it though, good thing he did it in the confines of his family residence I know he already talked about it in a TV appearance a few years back but it's good to know a bit more on the concrete details on it (ie. first time drinking)...

To be fair the shoulder fits well and that's enough for me, considering how hard it is to tailor for him (ie. his unique body shape, for lack of a better word...). The trousers' fit looks straight enough to me, extra length aside (due to his thighs it seems, otherwise the trousers' hems gonna travel way up if it were fitted standing up.) Might not be there just yet but I feel like his suit fitting isn't as bad as it used to be I thought it was 10%, so if the increase were simply adding up the percentage then it would be 30% by now? Whoa....

I was just curious about those athletes whose nose are as sensitive as Yuzu 😅😅 ...from this we find out that Yuzu favors lighter fragrance(/flavor/taste) to richer ones (though it seems that he can sometimes take a bit of herbal/spicy flavor (I was thinking of ginger/piiman), as long as it is still light enough maybe...). I was just curious, which athletes was he talking about? (It seems like his fellow skaters? Team Japan mates? If so, who are they?). Nothing too serious really 😅😅 That makes it clearer, so far it's because: 1. The snow (雪) in the name Sekkisei 2. The charity done by the company (it's a nature conservation type of charity too! ) I feel like there might be more reasons from the ones listed here, but it isn't like I need answers immediately 😅😅🙈
