How the heck did you manage this -

I forgot to comment on Jason. I've never liked that particular style of skating, but he skated with a lot more of an open quality, at least in the SP, so his switch to TCC worked in his favour there. I still hope to see him be able to jump better because it really detracts overall. In terms of PCS, though, he's easily second in the field for me behind Yuzuru, and I would even say ahead of him when it comes to Composition/Choreography due to better flexibility and superior spins that he actually ends up showcasing in his programs. Only slightly behind in terms of PE, SS, and IN (but behind by more than just slightly on TR).

At least it's not a gargoyle... -
Frankly, he should have found a niche as an artist by this point, and it's troublesome that he doesn't even seem to know his own persona on the ice. I get the desire to perform to songs that you might like listening to, but that's not all there is to it.

Could be interesting. The LP in particular, which we never got to see. The SP music isn't that great IMO, but a new look for her nonetheless. -

Chaplin should've been retired after Fernandez's 2013 attempt. I hope the top men start posting their music choices soon, as these are very ordinary, although Higuchi's take on Poeta might be exciting. -

The troubles faced when someone's run out of Bella Famiglia white truffle oil to put into their Tagliatelle, and they spend so much time worrying that it's past al dente. -

I don't think Kolyada's problem is bringing personality to exhibitions. He's had problems with that in competition, however, and I've felt they should discard that part with him and go for interesting movement instead. -

Ha! They're running with the Slayer theme for her. -
Of course he has them. They weren't exactly great, like with Browning or Chan, who were mentioned... I wouldn't use him as an example for great skills, although definitely good. Agreed here.
-
I got that and maybe I shouldn't have said "popularity", but I still wouldn't agree. If we are just talking about that person's competitors, I would use the term "Greatest of This/That Time" instead, and I wouldn't set much store by the opinions of people who've not proved to know much about the sport or its history, as happens nowadays in various articles and several vocal factions. It's too hard to determine "the" GOAT across different eras, anyway, IMO.
-
Stojko wasn't known for his skating skills though?
-
What does potato boy mean lol As for the program, it's not great yet, but looks like he'll be working at it.
-
I agree it's an artificial title, and it really doesn't matter who's GOAT, but... hard disagree on popularity determining GOAT.

It's an actual different thing. We also have a "quint" Salchow attempt now. -

That's past 180 degrees PR (close to 270 from what I can tell from IG vids in that angle usually), and landed short. So it's a "quint". I lack a point of reference for quints, but that looks too small for one. He might rotate one enough when he's small (and on harness) but not when he's grown with that height. And no that's not a toe axel. I hope the misinformation about pre rotated toe loops being toe axels ends. -
He finished bachelor's a couple years ago. I don't know what he studied, but I'm guessing sports science. For his master's, his admission into Beijing's sports university was out on Twitter, but he hasn't personally confirmed it yet, so we don't know for sure. That place also offers dance training apparently, so maybe that's the motivation? He also posted about going there for weight lifting though.
