All in all, just moving the combo to second half, even if he downgrades from 4S3T to 4T3T, is a BV increase of 1.26 points. But it's not really an increase in terms of the tech itself, if one looks at it. However, not having all three edge jumps in the SP might help stabilize the jump layout, if he keeps it like this, because then he won't have to change his entries to very similar jumps (4Lo and 4S). I think, though, by going with a known quantity (Chopin) and a more stable combo (4T3T), he may be readying for introducing the 4Lz to his SP. Or he has decided to try his luck with going completely clean. How that'll shake up in the run up to the Olympics in his GOEs/PCS, if he does go clean before February, might be something to keep an eye out. Will judges reward lower tech consistency the same way they do it in Ladies?

So the last pre-Olympics GP assignments (in 2013) was very early June, so we're just about one week early if they come out today. Interesting how the timing on the assignments has shifted a lot, though, from late May to early July!

Could be a misunderstanding but a lot of people in here, Twitter and other forums all thought Tatjana's tweet meant the assignments. So the explanation is maybe they got anticipated due to Olympics. Anyone remember when GP assignments came out in 2013 for comparison?
