LOL. that was hilarious. He's staring at all these ingredients, and I'm thinking, wth? what choices are they giving him? is it that complex? It was like the whole process was a huge test for him and his decision making abilities...I doubt hot chocolate is something he has regularly!!
-
Let's be real: the " doesn't cook much" in his private life probably means " never, ever cooks." At least he can skillfully pour milk without spilling and can open a microwave, lol.... In my mind I see him continuing to train in Toronto with his mom there when he's 25 or 26 years old... we know Mama Hanyu is awesome, but... one day yuzu should learn to cook to at least stay alive for a short time on his own!!

Ah, everything is working properly again... hmmm, love me some hot chocolate.. but for me, starting around this time of year when it's getting darker outside and colder, it has to be peppermint hot chocolate.. with whipped cream and chocolate shavings... so bad but ooh so good at the same time... and what is with those pants, yuzu ? love the red sweater, but the pants? whoever dresses him certainly has fun...

I can only get around using Activity... but at least we can still get around...
-
What an experience for him to keep forever and ever.... and he's often on the ice at the same time when you watch the clips that are posted from time to time... like the one by Gabi showing Yuzu's quad video bomb... and the side eye one from media day, lol!

I feel pretty certain this is a mental thing rather than a physical one... or rather, maybe he's physically drained and feeling not ready because he's mentally exhausted. I hope he can overcome whatever ails him because he came back and put in all that effort to compete and try for another Olympics. I want him to achieve that goal and be proud of the skates that he will do there... and so I wish him the best of luck in getting to where he needs to be to do that. C'mon, Patrick, win the battle. I want to see those beautiful skating skills that no one else in the world can match, and I mean no one, despite the marks the judges are giving you. Every skater is envious of his mastery of the blade and when he retires so do those skills in competitive skating. Insert other media

Oh geez, these 3 as the Harry Potter trio? Really? Gosh I wish next week would get here
-
I only said it because up until the last couple of seasons, it seemed he often trained alone in Japan... and often between NHK and GPF... but this time it is longer, almost a month. Stay out of the fish bowl....
-
I was surprised when I read that first news from that reporter that said he'd confirmed that Brian would be going to NHK with Yuzu... I mean, that's only next week... halfway across the world... first class or business might be comfortable, but maybe not if you've just had surgery.... you know, the timing for Brian's issue was probably the best it could have been ... if it was last week he would be in Russia and next week China... you never want to be that far away from home when facing emergency surgery of any kind... and also, it could have happened during Olympics.... I hope Yuzu comes back to Toronto after NHK... I highly doubt Brian would want him out of sight for that long during this season...

[2017/18] Senior Men of the Grand Prix circuit

I agree. His fire is gone...I hope it will reignite. Olympics are 3 months away... now is when he should be looking at his team mates, V/M and Osmond and D/R... they are all fired up and more so than ever before... i hope they can serve as inspiration. The team is strong and they need him... Olympic gold is still a possibility and i hope he gets his mental ducks in a row soon because regrets are a pain in the a@# and the chance won't come again. -
Teehee... that *video bomb* is hilarious and I bet it's probably one of the reasons why Gabby put that particular clip up! Perfectly timed dramatic entrance, lol, right on the music, corner of the video... as if he *knew* he was right in the shot I hope she showed him! And yeah, listening to Tracy last night was amusing. She was very nice in all her comments, quite complimentary, but with subtle little criticisms here and there that you'd expect from any commentator. She's such a *nice,* unbiased commentator, particularly contrasted with the catty Carol Lane...listening to her, unlike Lane, you'd never know she coached someone else... but when you realize it, then other meanings to her words become clear. It made me smile, lol.

Re:Brian Tracy updated on air and said he went through surgery well and was now trying to get back to the hotel!!! No one likes being in hospital very long, lol!
-
I refuse to worry about PCS and GOE until he skates against his rivals at the GPF and we see what happens there.
-
That is a very interesting statistic. I never ever thought about how much distance in total they cover.... thank you.
-
This is Brian news... he wasnt with Jun hwan Cha because he went for sudden surgery in Regina for his gall bladder after experiencing stomach pains there... hope he recovers well, you know he will want to be back for his boys....
-
What does it say?
-
I imagine he will be watching SC live on tv this weekend.... you know he will be....And very focused while watching, lol...... hmmm, I wonder if it is sold out this year?
-
I talk to plants, he talks to quads... we all have our own "friends." It's what makes us all "special."
-
He can never, ever say that fans are a burden to him. He is too nice, and he appreciates the support... but he could never be openly critical even if he felt that way.
-
I"m sure the huge number of fans at events probably stresses him a bit too. If you look at it from his perspective, one little person looking up to see a wall of screaming people with cameras and posters all aimed at you... that is overwhelming. He knows intellectually that everyone is there to support him and he appreciates it, but still...just looking into huge crowds...how could you not be affected by it? No wonder he likes squirrels and robins!! I think I'd probably explode under his level of scrutiny.
-
He is such a combination of steely eyed assassin and exuberant little boy, lol. So many facets.....
-
And somewhere over the Atlantic, Brian feels chills down his spine....... but does not know it is because someone said 4A soon...
-
I hate that they said "ran away with" the gold.... yuzu won long program , chen held on to win... there was no running away with anything, lol!!!
