  1. well, he is better than they are. He should have more.
  2. clap. Clap. Clap. Well done to survive the moment.
  3. On this board I think we are satellites... elsewhere people say fanyus... I think
  4. Yep. Hope he is calm, focused, and enjoys the outing today. Knowing he can do WR even after some issues has got to be a relief. Just enjoy performing your favourite program, yuzu.
  5. I swear, the feeling of victory in snagging primo seats is part of the fun in attending a smaller event, lol. It is your part of the competition, lol. Edit: didnt notice until now that I finally got to SEIMEI! Perfect day for it, lol.
  6. Wonder if Brian is having pancakes for breakfast... with all the toppings or plain??
  7. I was stocked up yesterday, ate this gorgeous nutella danish... followed by dark chocolate... today demands...hmmm... not sure yet but I have time.... not expecting much today from Seimei, but who knows... maybe after his wr he will feel so much energy and confidence that he will exceed expectations.... I just want to hear that frickin' awesome music going Iinto his choreo ss
  8. Ok, I am awake again ready for Seimei day!!! After everything yesterday though, my brain chose to dream about the DODDS brothers and living in Australia. Ok, brain, but you could have chosen to dream about Yuzu!!!! You know, yuzu has broken so many records... yet I feel more excited about this one than the one at World's.... why? Because it is the first of the olympic season? Because we know he hurts a bit? We know judges still love this number? We weren't expecting it? Some of our satellites are there? All of the above?
  9. Too bad the spectators could not sleep overnight in the arena, lol... then they would stay to the very end of the competition... and save on hotel fees, lol.
  10. I Was thinking the samething...no patrick.
  11. I knew he could get the marks on Canadian soil... he just had to skate clean and perfectly, and wonderfully well.... which he usually doesn't do here, lol!!!
  12. How many sets of guards does a skater travel with? Would 1 set not be enough? Very interestink...
  13. Good, Brian. Start out with lower expectations and hopefully the media won't create lots of hooey headlines Iif there is rust. The real competition is on the ice in February, not in the papers leading up to it...
  14. Wel, if you fly across the world, or part of it, to attend... and really want to be as close as you will probably ever be... it makes sense to do what you have to do. This is almost as intimate a setting you will get... and being in line ups, with people as devoted as you are? That's how some friendships are made!
  15. Lol. Brian not telling yuzu that javi would be competing!!!! Good for you, Brian. Nice little surprise there!
  16. that's awesome, Hydro!!!! Well done. Your trip gets better and better!!
  17. I didnt doubt you, meoima. He has to bring it this year.
  18. You know, when Brian said he had knee pain, but is ok... those are not contradictory statements, not really. I don't know if its an english thing, but it is possible to say you have an issue but still be ok. People say it all the time. "Ok" does not always mean good, it can mean so-so, stable, etc.. I would not try to dissect Brian'statements too much.
  19. I will keel over if it is black... with dark red bling of some kind... because, you know he will have some bling... it is yuzu. I just want it to be dark..... mysterious, powerful, etc..
  20. ITA. Black would be awesom3. Lithe as a panther.... stealthy... beautiful body lines on display... but I am prepared for the absolute opposite to what I think would be best, lol!!!!
  21. We have Kinder surprise in Canada... I remember the first time I heard about the US ban...my reaction was like Fay's... guns allowed, but no Kinder toys?.... but, to each their own. I am also a dark or bitter chocolate person. Sweet or milk chocolate is not for me... I like to joke that the older I get, the more bitter my chocolate... Did someone say they have Ghana in Canada? I have never seen it.... I would try just for yuzu...
  22. Ok, that's better, lol. SC has its own agenda and the judges who judge it are not Canadians.... I think it does not help that SC was often his first gp so he was also rougher around the edges.... it makes it look like we do not like him. I think we would keep him here if we could!!!
  23. Be fair! Many Canadians love Yuzu. I do not want to think about his SC marks... or some performanve..... audiences love him.... he got standing Os at worlds 2013. Quebec city GPF....
  24. Ah, so that is where his mom and the other skaters were seated. I always wondered where in the audience Tracy was pointing to, and where mothers/family might sit. When yuzu is being congratulated by Brian, you can see Tracy looking up behind to the audience and giving a celebratory kind of gesture. I always thought that was meant for his mom, so she obviously knew where Mama was sitting and could show him. I remember seeing the J broadcast and you could clearly hear Tracy saying, as she pointed, "and your mum is sitting right up there." You can see Dylan and Gabby, from tcc, right there too... so I am sure if he saw anyone other than his mom, he would have seen them.
  25. I have to say that for me, the original Shoma Turandot was better, performance wise. It is early days, of course, but that is my first impression.
