As I assume most memes here are fan-made, please try to credit them as far as possible. If it is not known, simply state "source unknown, please PM me the source" etc. ; if it is created by you, please state "created/edited by me". :pbow: This also applies to your ava/sig (you can now add image credit below your ava -----> see mine! it's a bad example tho)

It's perfectly ON topic! This reminds me of a discussion on musicality back in the-place-we-shall-not-name: whether it is natural or can be developed with time. When I watched Yuzu old programmes, somehow I think that the ability to feel the music is something that is inborn in Yuzu. There are skaters who have nice choreography, nice posture and expressive facial expressions but only very few of them can feel and deliver the emotions in the music to the audience.

Back when I am on other gaming forums, there is a function to "add to favourite" certain threads/comments from posters. Users can find their list of "favourites" on their own personal page. I think this function may come in handy in the future when there are more posts. (of course other features suggested above should come first for sure! :pbow)

My first encounter with Figure Skating is because of Yuna's show -- "Yuna Kim's Kiss and Cry". I was interested in one of the guests on the show so I have watched it all. Since then, I became a casual figure skating audience (wouldn't even call myself a fan!) During Sochi, everyone around me suddenly fangirl so hard at that cute Japanese 19 yo boy. I was so edgy and hipster and so I have decided to watch him and NOT become a fan because it's "too mainstream". BOOOM I fell in love with PW. I was trying very hard to resist the urge to become a hardcore fangirl (despite following tons of Yuzu fan accounts). On one night around the summer of 15-16 season, I was too bored so I did a marathon of all Yuzuru's performances and a new fan is born.

Part 1 Leading a whole new era Han: We want to lead pair skating to a higher artistic level that gives you the same feelings as ice dance. In the past, I cannot understand ice dance - i would fall asleep watching that - but now I find ice dance even more exciting than the singles because I believe they are telling me a story with their performance. Of course, the two disciplines are very different, but I think that if I can apply the techniques of ice dance to pairs, such as having less crossovers between elements, maintaining good speed before lifting and doing it smoothly, by reaching that standard, ice dance and pairs can be fused together. From Vancouver 2010 to Sochi 2014, the development of pair skating stagnated. But we are now in a different era, although the rules remain the same, I am finding ways to enhance the discipine - I can't wait and follow others' step, I want to lead the change. Here's part 1 of the article (only translating Han's quote). I may do the rest later.

Consistency also means that a skater is within his/her comfort zone. Inconsistency isn't a bad thing, when you are less inconsistent than your competitors. This is also why I enjoy while having a nervous breakdown male FS events so much.
