  1. Liza's new short program is "Drumming Song" by Florence + the Machine (source), choreo by Shae-Lynn. Her free skate is not known yet.
  2. Full program of Alysa, part 1, part 2 - she attemped 3A and 4Lz twice, and then she zayaked the second 3Lz. The panel didn't notice it, according to the protocol (also, look at those GOE ranges...from -2 to +3 or, -1 to +4...also positive GOE on the 4Lzs)
  3. Every* triple Axel in one video! Can you name all 11 times he received perfect GOE on his 3A? (answers are in the description of the video) *except JGP Croatia 2009 Short Program because the uploader couldn't find any footage (I don't think it exists...). Yuzu landed his 3A with a positive GOE in that SP
  4. She already had two hip injuries as far as I know. Her problematic jumping technique and all those hard elements in her programs could lead to very serious injuries (again) in no time. She doesn't even need all those quads and 3As at such a young age. Her team could focus on slowly building up her technique and improving other skills, and thus giving her more chances to stay healthy in the next coming seasons. But not just the physical, also the mental preparation is important for a young skater - the media hype around her is already big enough even though she hasn't even competed in any international junior competitions yet...
  5. The decision that one of his coaches will be Hamada isn't that surprising imo (btw, what happened to Tom Zakrajsek? Does he have any big students now?) What I find more surprising is that a huge Japanese company sponsors a foreign skater. Especially given how many talented skaters are in Japan who don't have such opportunities and who may need more financial support.
  6. According to Tatjana Flade on GS Kolyada told her before the GP assignments came out that he hoped he wouldn't get CoR again because he found it difficult to compete home. He wanted to compete at Skate Canada because he had never been there before + he also said he likes Japan. So it seems he really didn't want to get CoR because of pressure, which makes sense. I think the assignments are good for him! The reason why Alina didn't get CoR may be similar too - maybe RusFed wanted her to compete under less pressure so IdF looks like the better choice.
  7. The survey result is very interesting, thanks for sharing it! It once again shows very nicely how diverse Yuzu fans are - we're really from all over the world to support him! I can't wait for the final result either!
  8. Loena Hendrickx will keep her Celine Dion SP from last season: https://europeonice.com/2019/06/24/loena-hendrickx-overcoming-adversity/ Her FS will be again choreographed by Solya.
  9. Rostelecom is tougher and the pressure would be there so much worse for him. I think Kolyada got really good assignments this season.
  10. I like the subtle way he's talking about judging ETA: it does seem to me that it was mistranslated and IK's translation is different and probably much more accurate. Her translation doesn't include "judges have their own criteria" so it doesn't sound like a criticism at the judges at all. @TallyT :
  11. Very good SP music choice for Mitsuki: And it's choreographed by Nanami Abe, I am looking forward to it.
  12. Rika and Satoko will compete at Japan Open
  13. Thank you for the translation! I wish Mitsuki all the best in his first senior season.
  14. Kazuki is at Skate America and Rostelecom Cup, Jun is also at SA + Cup of China. You can find all the lists in the opening post of this thread here.
  15. Michael Parsons has a new partner, Caroline Green. They'll compete at Skate Canada.
  16. It does seem like a farewell and that Andrew wanted to retire. I wish them all the best!
