Junior Skaters of 2019/20 Season
sallycinnamon replied to sallycinnamon's topic in Igloo World: Team Other Skaters
I moved the posts about Summer Trophy here so that we have everything in one place. @WinForPooh yes, Shun really needs to work on those levels He could have won the SP with better levels... Yuma wins the competition with 230.41 (4T, 3F, 3A-Eu-3S, 3A, 3F-3T, 3Lz-2T, 3Lo - 156.77), Shun is second with 222.10 (4S fall, 4T-3T, 4T, 3A-2T, 3A, 3F?, 3Lz-Eu-2S - 149.61). ETA: protocols: End results also for the ladies: -
25 September.

2019/2020 Season Program Announcements
sallycinnamon replied to sallycinnamon's topic in Knickknacks: General Skating Chat
The songs: -
I think in earlier interviews Nathan has talked about studying for 2 years and then postponing school until Beijing. He probably can't leave school after three semesters (in January), only after a full year. It may be just Raf's wish to leave earlier. He talked about already how useful it was for Nathan to return to California before Worlds so it'd be easier for him to have Nathan back after US Nationals and prepare together for Worlds. Gallagher's tweet caused confusion, which he tweeted a bit earlier than that podcast itself. Not sure why he tweets something that's not clear at all.

2019/2020 Season Program Announcements

Ivett new short program from test skate. It's swing but I don't know the song. I wonder when she'll get back her 3Lz and a stable triple-triple combo -
I think Gallagher's tweet was not clear. It probably means that after this year (school year), so next May. Raf mentioned that Nathan is in California now and he's going back to school in three weeks. He said he'd like Nathan to go back to California in January but at this point it seems it's just his wish, nothing more.

Thank you very much for the translation! If he writes a book about Yuzu one day it'd surely be a good read!

Yes, Sept. 7-8.
-
Good news I missed Ksenia. We'll probably see them at the test skates.

Yes, it was posted by @Yuzurella. I can't wait to see Yuzu perfoming Haru Yo Koi, the brass band, Shinya Kyozuka and Yuming as well.
-
Max Ambesi talks about Yuzu from ca min. 23 to 35 here (ETA: and it seems he talks about him in several other parts of the video too): Can someone who speaks Italian tell us what he says about Yuzu?
-
Yes, it's possible that they'll release a second DVD/Blue-Ray!
-
The Shanghai Oriental Sports Center? I don't think so. But GPF will be in Beijing next year, that'll be probably on the same rink as the one for the Olympics in 2022. Like they had GPF in 2012 in Sochi or 4CC 2017 in PyeongChang.

General Skating Chat

Shanghai Trophy Announcement This year there'll be both SP and FS unlike earlier + there'll be gala, too. Medvedeva, Rizzo, Tursynbaeva, Sinitsina/Katsalapov, and Enbert/Zabiiako are already confirmed. It's open to the Top 12 skaters or couples of Worlds 2019 and top 3 of junior Worlds 2019, based on invitations. There'll be 6 men and 6 ladies, 5 pairs and 6 ID couples. I am curious who'll go there because I didn't expect Medvedeva going there. They don't get points for this competition, only prize money, based on the results.- 6,825 replies

It doesn't work on Pooh...

I didn't really expect her going to Shanghai Trophy. Because she needs points she could go to one of the Challengers earlier before that, though it'd be a packed schedule with the Test skate early in September too. That person on twitter (x) may have accurate info then, but Shcherbakova hasn't been confirmed yet.
