Lord I hope not. Nope, it's an amalgamation of what his fans say about him and all the ballet he's done.

My goodness, I must be half-blind blind until now! Where are those balletic moves everyone are talking about?:english2:

If I were a fs skater, i'd get 90++ pcs now just by landing quads and do sexy balletic moves+spread eagles? PCS? What are those we dont really review them, says ISU.

:LOL:

Shoma:

4F 4Lo 4T3T 3A1Lo3F//3A 4S2T 3Lz- with 2 GOE avg, looking at 98.1 but I think he's better off switching the 3A combo and the solo 3A around in order, or would that be too tiring?

Actually I think Shoma's stamina is quite good, so he can do two 3As in the second half and 4T rather then 4S

4F 4Lo 4S 4T3T//4T 3A1Lo3F 3A2T - in the best form or he can drop 4S for 3S2T, or maybe he'll go for 3Lz again but in the first part I bet.

Also I think for guys there's no need for too much backloading cuz the price for a mistake will be higher, better go for your most stable jumps in the end like Yuzu's and Shoma's 3A.

As for Yuzu all will depend on his recovery first.

Shoma is more likely to do 3A3T and 4T2T.

Nathan's max layout, without the 3A (assuming he brings back his edge quads):

4F

4Lz-3T

4Lo

4S

=====

4T

4T-3T

3Lz-1Lo-3F

A truck if he hits. I'm not too expectant, however.

He'd repeat the 4Lz or 4F, not the 4T. And he HAS to have a 3A. It's obligatory.

4Lz-3T

4F

4Lo

4Lz

=====

4S

4T--1Lo-3F

3A-3T

Without the 4Lo

4Lz-3T

4F

4Lz

4S

=====

4T--1Lo-3F

3A

3A-2T or 3Lz3T?

Well I guess I did say max layout. But the problem is, I don't think I remember a single clean attempt of the 4Lz or the 4F in the second half for the bonus, and wouldn't it actually come much later here? Though I guess the program could be choreographed in a way that makes sure he gets out the first four quads very quickly in the first half, and then waits for the second half to attempt the 4Lz (and it won't really affect his PCS).

Not really, it depends on when he'd place it in his layout. And max layout would mean he'd repeat 4Lz or 4F, otherwise it's not really maxed out. :laughing:

Yeah, I maybe should have said "realistically" maxed out. Maybe. I just don't remember a clean attempt at all in the second half (which is where I'd expect most repeated quads to be).

3A is obligatory? Yeah, I'm probably messing up there.

Seems about right, though has he ever attempted a -1Lo-3F out of a 4T?

But the 4S in the second half isn't always too clean either...

This kid's a wild card.

Are you sure anyone can trust the judges to mark costume choice??

I don't think most of us don't even trust the judges to mark skating choices so.... :sipping:

He's done  it before in practices, but how reliable it is I don't know. Much like placing a 4Lo in his layout: how successful is that jump in practice and will he risk it?

As for quad repetition, he has repeated the 4F successfully before so that could work but he'd need to do 4F3T instead of 4Lz3T.

From FSU: "The solo jumps in the SP will now be predeterminated for each season (like in juniors). 18-19 : Flip, 19-20 : Loop and 20-21: Lutz." :slinkaway:

Yeah that’s why I asked for the link but I think that poster is mistaken.

It would be outrageous
