To be fair...Japanese media isn’t all that much better about privacy for Yuzu.  But atleast they are complentary for other skaters

Even though Japanese press knew about the 4Lz coming this season they kept it shut until Yuzu was ready to announce it himself

Messing. Nice. More entertaining version of Chaplin compared to Fernandez's SP, imo.

Well, aren't +5 GOE coming soon?

*sigh* I guess this will keep me calm during the wait up, since my brain is trying to explain this.

But anyways, if we look at how the current scores translate proportionally, then Nate would be around 3-4 GOEs in that new system, so he would be nearing the cap too. My argument about his longevity is this:

-If you give say +4 PCS per new jump, then technically Chen only has a 4A remaining, and with less jumping passes, there's no point in him doing less than 4F and 4Lz jumps. 2 of each, plus a 3A, and go for stability in the last 2 jumps. So his TES cap is getting close, even with the new GOE system.

-You need stamina for the new 4 min program, which Brian hinted/shaded at. And Nate's jumps demand a lot of stamina. I doubt he will backload, so again, no point in doing lesser quads. Again, why he has less technical content coming up. Can he go for 4-4? Ya know, of the quadsters, I think he's the last one I'd consider, because his kneebend is an issue, he has next to no flow coming out. Besides, right now he does more 4-2's for a reason.

-Now, if you already are giving him PCs of 90's, and if quads TES is tied to PCS, there's less PCS remaining for him to gain, simply because he's maxed out his jumps variety already.

This means that Nate actually will need to work on his skating skills and artistry if he wants to get more PCS-hopefully. But that might make it easier for others to pass him, especially if TES still affects PCS.

Now if TES/quads still affect PCS, at say +4 PCS per quad. Shoma still has 2 to stabilize (Lz and Loop) and he could consider going 4-4 or 3-4 since he plays around with it. Boyang has the most to gain in this system, since he's got 4Loop and 4F remaining, plus his PCs hasn't gone over 90 yet.  Plus both still have room to go artistically in SS, TR and artistry in general. I'd argue that Shoma and Boyang have more longevity than Nate.

Good job, Keegan!

Feel sick. God. Yuzu, I sure hope you're the one who took all my chill. I used to have chill. Take it all, you can do with it what you will.
