I think he will. He gave up a lot to get this Olys gold, and it sounds like he still has Kuyashii and a giant pile of stuff he wants to realize. 

But the key is his injury-I don't know how injured he is, and the chinese fans I have from my rink are super concerned. So it's up to see how he heals. Ligament/soft tissue injuries are nightmares, because they can't be put in a cast and told not to move. They have to move all the time. But he's got off season soon, so if he just focuses on healing, maybe he'll be fine. =)

He's probably still riding the Olys high, or the pain is not as bad as we thought? We hypothesize that he's at about 50-60%, but maybe he's at 70%? It's just that he's not at 100%, and he said he himself has to go back and heal more.

Because Yuzu revealed he's actually still injured  so now speculations are running wild of just HOW injured! and fanyu's being the worried hyperprotective people that we are immediately going to the worse case scenario of course ><

PyeongChang Olympics Daily highlight is scheduled from 23:00 until 24:00 (JST). Not sure if Yuzu will join the program though. (Maybe they'll air their interview aired live now)

Yuzu isn't stupid. he wouldn't do something career endangering. Olys was one thing. Worlds is another. I trust that he will be wise about it. We've never gotten indications that he didn't intend to continue much much further on, so imo if he's entertaining that idea, the injury is probably not like, horrendous at this stage. enough to give him pause that maybe, MAYBE with a bit more rest he will be fine. 

 

 

but then again...... he has set the Olympics second gold medal as his goal for the last four years.... i wonder whether he will feel like, yata. its done. and be happy to stop....

 

but then again.... Nessie......i get the feeling he really wants to land her...... that might be a goal for him to keep going.

I actually think his reply to the question if he‘s going to worlds is a pretty clear no but you know he never says definite things when put on the spot like that

Ahhh, okay. Yeah, I’ve been watching his interviews so I heard about it not being fully healed (I expected it still wouldn’t be) but if the rest is just people panicking...

 

I don’t think he should go to Worlds but I don’t see any reason to assume this is the end yet. Brian mentioned in that ice network interview that the new scoring system might be enough of a challenge to keep him interested in hanging around next season and if he gave that interview after the injury then I wonder why he would say it if it’s the end.
