He repeat both programs. Well, he basically sit out for this whole season. I hope he can comeback strong ^^

I see. Thanks for giving that some clarity :agree2: It was just really puzzling to hear about Shoma "becoming an employee" of Toyota lol.

Takahiko Kozuka and Miki Ando were supported by Toyota as their contract employees when they were competing. According to Miki they paid her monthly salary as much as they paid for other office workers and sometimes assigned her some jobs for Toyota. Having read the recent news about Shoma and Toyota, I think Shoma will receive same support as Takahiko and Miki did from Toyota. (Takahiko became Toyota’s regular employee after his r****ment but now he has switched back to contract employee to do more FS-related activities.)

ETA: Takahiko and Miki were both going to Chukyo Univ. at that time as employees of Toyota learning something useful for the company.

As I said in the main thread, there's a pretty great (and long !) interview of Shoma that has just been translated by cantilovertranslation

It's a good read. He sounds humble and mature in this, I really like it. He even talks about "chance" for some of his results - he could talk about the fact he went clean, but he could also talk about the fact that the tech panel was very easy on him.

Interesting that he seems to do well as a "chaser". Maybe a reason why his word for the last and the next season is "attack."

I wonder how he'll cope/react to pressure once he's no longer the chaser...
