The Salchow is nice and gives him no edge issue. Instead of the Loop? Today it was wobbly, but he has a good Loop too. 4T is his most stable quad.

Mmh not sure he would benefit from the higher BV, with the edge issues and prerotation issues, but we'll see c:

He's always very concise on twitter. In commentaries and on facebook, he lets himself go a little xD

Very interesting to see what happens with judging at ACI.... I think what happens there will definitely influence what yuzu brings for gp series. I am sure those at TCC paid close attention to both challengers this weekend. 

 

At least we know judges so far do not care that Shoma's program is a repeat.

I had no doubt about that. Judges have to listen to +20 Moulin rouges this year, the usual +20 Josh Groban/Frank Sinatra/other love ballades, so they are very resistent with warhorses. And Yuzuru's programs aren't even warhorses, so it's completely fine. Both Judges and the public will love his programs.

I thought Yuzu and Patrick was breaking the SP WR left and right before Sochi (not literally, but) and perhaps the inflated scores early this season is (among many other reasons) an attempt to catch up to Yuzu's WRs to give some more hype to the Olympics. I'm going to be salty if anyone breaks Yuzu's WR though even if it is deserved. sigh~

every time i'm waiting for the scores, im holding my breath like "oh no, they could do it, they could give it a higher score than yuzu's" he'll just break them and break them again out of spite, like at nhk '15 when boyang set the record for tech score and yuzu went out and beat it right after.  im sure he'll be fine though, overall. he'll drag the gold medal from the judges hands if he has to
