Yeah, I assume judges look at protocols and programmes of the top six, especially leading up to the Olympics, not just the podium. Even incompetence cannot go that far.

I think his training of 4Lz still kinda affects his whole program, like what happened with 4Lo and H&L. However, this time at least by the 1st gp he already pulled himself together. Like this program doesn't look all over the place. So I think he could make it in time for Olympic to finish perfecting this program.

How about Nathan? You know, my stream worked perfectly till right after the lutz, when he was setting up the loop. Right until then. And Yuzu's PCS was under 95, which is not really high for him. I think Nathan can add quads until kingdom come. If Yuzu builds up to skating clean with the lutz and loop at the beginning, this Seimei might only be beaten by Yuzu skating H&L.

 

Nathan popped 1 quad, and his 3As were not behaving, the combo with 2nd 3A was ...err, I think the protocols should tell us what that was. But he landed everything else.

Did everyone already discuss the upgraded sparkles?

Whether I like Nathan's skating or not, or agree of scores or not on PCS, he skated cleaner programs throughout the competition and has proven himself a resilient young man with great potential. Congrats to him, and hopefully I can stay away from more U.S. propaganda so I don't become bitter with the results here.

 

But for my favorite Yuzu, wish him all the best always! He pulled himself together, and as a new fan starting out a season with him, I'm gaining the faith and zen needed to survive these battles step by step.

but tbh his win at Worlds early this year really helps his reputation a lot. Last year all the comments about him being inconsistent and old were just annoying.
