Well Yuzu had a pretty unspectacular warm up and OP for ACI and look what he did in the SP. Then remember he had a pretty lethargic warm up in the FS in Helsinki and look what he did there. Practice is just for him to troll us and make us birth kittens.

 

Also, he only tried 5 times. Considering he had jet lagg, unless he's been nailing it 100% otherwise, 5 attempts is not that significant a number of attempts. If he tried 50 times and couldn't nail a single one it would be a different matter.

I don't think he had any. It was 3 pops, one bad stepout and the more or less saved stepout. So the two attempts shown in the video were his best ones, since he only did 5 and popped 3.

Can you see specifically what's the problem about the iffy landings? To me it seems like the unwrapping of the free leg is a little slow and his weight is too forward but... I don't know anything lol.

Yeah, I thought so too by tweets but then the videos showed 2 different stepouts so those were the more successful attempts today.
