But I don't get it, why is the 4Loop acting up??? It was fine last year? And now he's doing the Lz to make it more stable and it's acting up and the knee??? Did something happen that we were not told about? (Probably.)

I think it's going to hit the western side of the UK again. I'm on the eastern side, but have been through quite a few typhoons when I lived in Japan. Did you see the weird red sky and sun last week---it was a bit creepy!

It's all good, nothing happened. Keep in mind he arrived yesterday afternoon, had a long, tiring journey, probably has some jet lag and had to try and practice a bit today. He looked tired too. It's all good, tomorrow should be better already 

Since Moscow is ahead of my time here by 2 hours, and Yuzu is in the first group, I might be able to hear news about it before I leave for work. Sorry if I've missed this, but is there a live stream somewhere?

They are not streaming the practices, we'll have to rely on reports first, and hopefully fancams later!

Yeah no, not now. I'm thinking during the summer? His loop seemed pretty stable last season, and yet Brian said in whatever interview that Yuzu was training the Lutz to stabalize the loop. I'm not really worried, more curious!

Not that I know of but then, it's always a work in progress, they do want to raise his consistency as much as possible so I think he simply trained the Lz, which helped stabilize the Lo even further. He was probably just dodgy overall today.

To be honest, I don't even want him to be all that great already. Like, not bombing would be nice, but perfect or close to it, feels to early. What's he gonna do then? Ehm, I guess, do it all over again at every competition ever, but that sounds so exhausting.

It was- indoors it felt a though the shortest day of the year was early, until you looked outside and saw the weird colour of the sky.  Some of these named storms have been nothing but that one - I have relatives in Belfast and it pretty much ground to a halt in terms of normal activities.

It's actually what he wants, as far as I can tell. He wants a high average of skates, in all pre-Olympic events to gain a consistency rep just in time for the Games. Now whether he can pull that off we're going to have to wait and see, but I am pretty sure he aims for a high level of skating throughout the season. 
The consistency talk is one that has followed him, rightly or wrongly, especially since last season, and that NBC piece also mentioned it, so from that angle too it'd be good for him. There's nothing else for them to go after, he has no real weaknesses so if he can plug this so-called one, then he's in the best position pre JNats and the OG.
