This is the case where everyone was trying to avoid the La La Land warhorse and dove straight into the exact same warhorse instead.....making another warhorse.....  (damn, some harsh shit went down at Champs Camp for two program changes and it's just unfortunate for Virtue/Moir). Though looking at the JGP, we already have our fair share of La La Land songs so...can't say I'm opposed to fewer La La Lands as a general rule >_>

Rolling Stones, Eagles and Santana seem interesting music choices. I was expecting something more conservative and warhorse music, considering the Olympic season. But I'm sure they'll come out with something wonderful. They never disappoint me!

Without counting Ashley's possible Moulin Rouge reprisal, and going only through Seniors programs, here's the count on some of the most used Warhorses of the season:

Moulin Rouge/Tango de Roxanne: 8
Swan Lake/Black Swan: 7
Carmen: 5
Turandot: 4

At least the LaLa land deluge didn't happen- and classical warhorses with vocals are likely to be well sung.
