Too late for me to save on it but if you get the ¥20,000 JR East pass and use it for NEX + Sendai round trip from Tokyo you’ll save ¥10,000ish. Still expensive.

Oh I didn't know... but it sadly doesn't help, as I'm taking the Shinkansen from Osaka to Tokyo (landing in Osaka), and seems you can only buy them in Tokyo. But I'll look into getting a JR Pass, instead.

The shinkansen is expensive, but I got the JR pass! Calculated how much I'd spend going through a quick tour of Japan and I'd be saving $500+ with the JR pass than not. 

 

Not everyone who went when I was there got the book so I'm sure there would still be books available.

You can get it in Japan! It'll be more expensive than getting it from your country but it'll still save money if you travel via Shinkansen at least more than one round trip.

Lol yup as many as you like as long as you cough up for the gum! They just have them in a rack next to the gum so you choose the ones you want and take them to the counter with you.  

It's something else listening to Seimei while riding a train to Osaka and seeing many traditional houses... (I also almost managed to time the plane touching ground with the beginning of the choreo sequence, the bam bam lol missed it only by a few secondd).

 

And I guess I haven't missed anything ticket wise in the past 20+hours...

I found four types at a 7eleven near Osaka-jo. But it was the only place I saw them (they were at the bottom of the display, too, so easy to miss). I also haven't seen any posters or so either. But I might have missed them, since I walked around like a zombie today. But my immediate impression was there was less Yuzu in Osaka than Tokyo (and possibly other parts) Hoping to be proved wrong in the next days.

So maybe an address/area where you saw it?  Definitely I will not be able to look at everyone in Tokyo.
