Haha omg I just got to my hotel. And I know Tokyo hotels are tiny but this one is not just tiny, it’s miniaturised! So the photos look normal but I’m in Being John Malcovich land!

(Worst pillow of my life. Why does Japan hate comfort? Maybe I’ll get that custom Yuzu pillow. >_>)

(I haven’t been to Tokyo in 7 years and I’m pretty sure it’s even louder and more crowded now >_>)

Yup, you're in Japan alright lol. Hearing your comments about your hotel reminds me of my own Japanese hotel escapades.

By the sound of it though, your room is smaller than anything I've ever been in lol.

NHK organisers have provided a map of the venue, including information on where the official event program will be sold, as well as the location of various merchandise stands that will be present during the event.

An additional 8K viewing of the NHK Trophy Mens Free Skate event will be done in Shinjuku on 2nd Dec.

Applications for lottery will be accepted until Nov 15.

You need to start an FS tourist information office! (imagine a grateful bowing emoji - too tired to look.) I don’t know whether to use this information to stand in or avoid a massive line, though. Scaryyyyyyy!

I’ve been in something this small but not this scale! The ceilings are sooooo low! And I’m battling with an incredibly hot central heating system by lying on a giant bottle of cold water which is somehow more comfortable than the mattress! Was hoping to find some Hanyu magazines to make it all worthwhile but the convenience store in the hotel seems to only have magazines of lady butts. I’m just not that into lady butts.

(So many drunk salarymen in this hotel. #authenticculturalexperience)

Hope the experience this morning at your hotel has become so much better.

The drunk salarymen must be sober by now.

And what?? No Yuzu mags? Sacrilege! I didn't think there'd be a convenience store in Japan that didn't have them!

Or maybe they're just all sold out?

I haven't attended a skating event in Japan for a while, but from my most recent experiences in other venues, the lines are usually only there before the venue opens.

So you'd only really want to stand in line if you want to get in as soon as possible, like for us in Moscow Yuzu was skating in the first practice group on the first day.

So you really wanted to get inside as soon as you could.

Otherwise, I believe you can take your time. Unless you'd also like to purchase some merchandise from the event, which it seems can get pretty long lines esp. in Japan.

I know. Lemme bust out my dead bunny. I’ve been neglecting it.

Also there are tickets on ticket and ticketcamp for the 8K screenings. Under 5000yen I think!

Can you get any? If you could get a spare, I'd definitely buy it from you, just getting it myself would be really difficult right now, I think...

I can’t because of mobile phone thing. :13877886: I’m so sorry! I thought maybe someone else might have a way for themselves.

Ah, that requires mobile, too? :headdesk: Oh well... back to preparing my sign, I guess...

I’ve been trying spreading a digital sign on J Twitter but I haven’t had any luck though more RTs than I expected!

I might have have to resort a real sign sign, too. You wouldn’t have to worry about any competition from me, though. I’m a total herbivorous pushover. :P
