woot woot, bringing this over from gen thread :)

And short Day 1 practice footage (yuzu not there yet) with... well I only recognize Balde. Looks like Javi and Stephane might be amongst those tiny people in the video? *squints*

ooh practice starts already? this is soo exciting! hope to see Yuzu soon :dancinghotdog::apple::upside-down-banana-smiley-emoticon:

SoonTM

Thank you everyone for the info and updates! Am I remembering correctly that he sometimes does two exhibition skates for FaOI? Usually the singer collaboration program, and then another program? He probably doesn't have enough time to get something choreographed, but I would love one program with one of the singers and then another program that's a collaboration with the pianist. :smiley-love017:  A piano version of Notte Stellata/The Swan might be nice and would give this program a different take, there's some interesting piano-only versions. His improvisation abilities and musicality really come to life during live performances.

Usually yes, a singer collaboration program and then another one. Last time, for the earlier sets of FaOI he picked from his old EX's and revived Vertigo and Hello I Love You, in addition to Believe, his collaboration with Chenelle. After DOI he switched to doing SEIMEI and Requiem iirc. Probably this time it'll be too rushed too try anything so I'm guessing singer collab + something from his EX. I would love if he did Change again, honestly. That one time with TOI was so great.

Between the first half and the second half of the tour (this year between Makuhari and Kobe), some goes home, some do other business in Japan (choreographing other skaters, taking part in TV shows, shooting CMs, etc), some take a vacation in Japan, so some of them travel together but not all of them.

Given the time between Makuhari and Kobe and this particular point, how feasible would it be for Yuzu and Jeff to take this opportunity to choreograph the SP for next season?

I have no idea…:scratch2: In 2012 he introduced PW during The Ice tour without proper costume (IIRC he first skated in ready-made polo shirt or something), and some people guessed that PW was choreographed during the tour, but the guess hasn’t been confirmed yet. It might be possible but I’m not sure they would do so at this stage in this Olympic season. However, Jeff has been busy doing SOI lately, so this might be a good chance for them to get together and talk about his program whether it has already been made or not.

It would make sense for them to at least discuss the program, start some step sequences. Jeff has been busy touring this spring and you know that he will be busy doing choreography once he is done doing shows.... makes sense to do something productive  while on tour... he is also doing Marin's long so his off time might be busy during faoi...

Thanks for the confirmation @gladi :thankyou: Now I'm really looking forward to the programs he might show us, a possibility of 4 different programs (of which maybe 3 might be new!) makes me excited. Everyone's detective work that showed Yuzuru was in Canada when Shae-lynn had some suspicious "free time" after choreographing for Elena Radionova makes me think that the free has already been worked on, maybe we can see a trailer-version of his new free like he showed with SEIMEI (even if he's not doing DOI)? Or if not, we'll probably get more Kenji choreography, which we didn't get to see last season!

I'm sure that Jeff and Yuzuru have planned out time for a new program months in advance, I think he's the one skater who really receives and showcases the best of Jeff's choreo.

Who else is getting Jeff choreo this year? *grabs him possessively and hides him away*

I believe Mirai Nagasu is getting a new LP choreographed by him (she's keeping her Chopin SP from him as well). Other than that, i can't think of anybody off the top of my head that's announced anything yet! I hope this Buttle+Hanyu collaboration continues the streak of amazing Yuzuru SPs! Save the best for Yuzuru and make it 4/4 :smiley-happy085:

i'm so excited yet so nervous for his program reveals if he does reveal them here. gonna keep my eyes peeled for fan reports :embSwan:
