Seriously though, I do hope it doesn't happen but it is a possibility. We will get fan reports, of course, but this is the one time I am not sure whether that'll make it better or worse.

I don't know how this ninja mode works, but sometimes there's a shooting from the airport when Yuzu arrives (for NHK for example), sometimes there's not. So I don't no maybe they need a permission of a skater/federation for shooting, maybe now they think that it's not so important to shoot at the airport cuz it's just a show not some big competition.

I think they film him arriving home to Japan at the airport if it's a competition, I don't think they usually do this for shows.

 

I DO expect news footage and clips of him arriving at the venue for practice and rehearsal though. Maybe there will be a couple pre-show tv segments, especially since this is his return to show skating after an entire year.

I am still frustrated because two years ago Yuzu skated Chopin Ballad No. 1 in collaboration with Kotaro Fukuma (improvised collaboration), and was never broadcast on television ...

Maybe they'll do it this year! They had Fukuma play the piano to a video of Yuzu skating Chopin in shows last year when he was absent. Maybe they'll do one special edition as a welcome back!

I doubt that they'll redo a love version (I would actually prefer to see new programs skated) but a girl can dream!

Fukuma san was a huge figure skating fan and all the collaboration pieces he did with other skaters were simply beautiful. I’m still dreaming of seeing Ballad No.1 by Yuzu and him but doubt if there will be another chance…

Shinya Kiyozuka has played piano in many films. Here’s my favorite tune played by him.

i love hana ni nare and hana wa saku a lot so i'm always hoping for fumiya sashida to collab again with yuzu but i guess this will only be a dream  (i thought the fact that they're close friends would mean more collab in the future ) 

 

i'm also hoping for chopin ballade no 1 to be performed though
